Wow, what a great draft. Had to listen to it on Sirius instead of watch it (traveling). I was thought the day was a winner after we took JJ in the second. The followup picks were just extra butter.

It's the day after. I went to the draft party and wondered was last year a just plain lucky year for our new coach and staff? I satred at the tv screens. Pick 1,2,3 then all of a sudden it was us. I was thinking how scared I'd been in the past with the Tobins, the Macs, the Ryans etc. Funny, I wasn't scared today just quite confidence that we knew what we were doing. THen the call Antrel Rolle top rated CB coming to the Cards. Have another drink, relax our team knows what they are doing, they are up on all the rest. 2nd round, will we give away or swap our number two, will Henry be wearing red?

I should have known. Our coach was not to be pushed into a bad situation with a RB that had but one year left on his contract and move down in the draft to boot. No, he stood his ground and drafted a guy that should turn out to be a very good back. Slippery, speedy and proven, over 2000 yards last year in a good conference. I had another drink. At this point I'm thinking we had a top defensive team last year, who is next and is it possable that we can move up from number 12 overall on D to top 5? Next pick Green. And then maybe our best pick of the day Blaylock.'

I don't know what will happen today. What I do know is I don't have to worry about where this team is going. barring unforseen catastrophys we will win our division and go deep into the playoffs. I'm not as concerned with our last two games on our schedule our defense will be better than their offense.I'm here to tell you IMO we are real close to the promised land, I just hope Warner or Josh can keep us moving straight ahead. Thank you Coach Green, Rod Graves, and the Bidwill family for showing their support of this team of personal experts.
