Cardinals Trading for CB Jamar Taylor

He wasn't very good for Miami and there was hope that a fresh start in Cleveland would do him some good. He was ok in Cleveland but nothing to get that excited about considering the reason he's available is that they got other people to replace him.
What did we give up? That is what I want to know.

The good news is we are trading with the Browns so maybe they threw in somebody for us to take him and it cost the Cards nothing. It is the Browns after all. LOL

Yeah, I would say considering the cap - there is no way they are going to also sign breeland. For better or worse, this is our #2 corner I think.

Yeah, they'll need to beat out a starter to see the field. If that happens and they produce, great! They had no one up to this point.

We gave up a 6th round pick per Rotoworld.
Cardinals acquired CB Jamar Taylor from the Browns in exchange for a sixth-round pick.
The Browns were shopping Taylor in the lead-up to the draft but found no takers on draft weekend. Cleveland completely overhauled at cornerback this offseason, adding Denzel Ward with the No. 4 overall pick after signing Travis Carrie, E.J. Gaines, and Terrance Mitchell in free agency. Taylor and fellow 2017 starter Jason McCourty, who was dealt to the Patriots, were the odd men out. Taylor was a second-round flop in Miami but rebounded for the Browns the past couple seasons. He figures to take over as the starter opposite Patrick Peterson in Arizona. May 18 - 12:58 PM

If he's even average it's a good move, IMO. Can't have All-Pros at all positions, and maybe Wilks can coach him up. You'd have to think he'll benefit from playing opposite PP and learning with him.
