Guess this is all we'll be discussing till he either leaves or signs which I hope is the latter. Can't wait to discuss the other pressing needs this team has.

John Holt of Little Rock, Arkansas reports that Kurt Warner will definitely resign with the Arizona Cardinals. Sources close to Colonel Holt, who wish to remain anonymous said the signing will likely be made public this coming Friday.

You retired as a Colonel? Nice. My respect to you, sir.

Schefter is rarely wrong.

Welcome back, Kurt.

Now, can we focus on building our defense and running game, please?

I heard Kent Somers on 910 AM radio late this afternoon and he thought the Cardinals might sign KW by later tonight, however, he thought more likely by tomorrow. He also said if the Cardinals don't get it done by tomorrow something has to be wrong.

To expand on what you've already posted, here is the Cardinals rank among the league in total salaray and median salary(total salary divided by roster size) since 2000:

2000: salary - 1, median salary - 25
2001: salary - 14, median salary - 24
2002: salary - 14, median salary - 27
2003: salary - 11, median salary - 12
2004: salary - 21, median salary - 19
2005: salary - 24, median salary - 31
2006: salary - 11, median salary - 19
2007: salary - 20, median salary - 16
2008: salary - 8, median salary - 15

Perhaps Joe could explain what the median salary numbers might mean. While the Cardinals are up and down each year on the total salary, overall they are around the middle of the road in total spending over the past eight years which is by no means "cheap" if we're talking salary.

The median salary is always on the low side though and I'm not sure what that indicates.

Good God, The median is the average of all salaries divided by total number of team players.

You realize that the bow tie convention in Scranton Pa is a big deal. It is one of the biggest, longest running conventions in the US. It was being held before motorize vehicles. It has a long and rich tradition.
