I don't want to hear one more person say that this team has "matured". Not it hasn't. This game would be a blow out if Alex Smith had not mistimed a few passes. Two of thos were probably touchdowns.

Our backs are fumbling, Warner threw a bad ball, Boldin didn't finish his pattern which resulted in an interception, Cards defense are giving up big plays........this team has alot more growing up to do.

Every freaking point off of turnovers.

Well..... I think we still have a shot.... Unfortunately, the energy required might be more than they want to expend.

With Detroit and St. Louis we should still win the division. And the Eagles will really need the game in Philly next week.

Craziness.

This is exactly why the cardinals get labels like the worst team in the playoffs.

Yep. Listening to Philly sports talk today, the Eagles fans kept pondering whether they could match up vs the Saints or Vikes, no mention of the Cards. I was a tad miffed, but this performance shows they deserve to be ignored.

Molkerman, this team has larger problems than just Kurt Warner right now. It's not always win or lose on Kurt Warner.

He did against the Jets last year but he does have those implode games and right now he's having one.

5 Turnovers and down 17-0? We could either have a comeback, or just have more turnovers. What the hell. What's the record for most in a game?

Well at least this is a bad Warner flush out.

Probably need one more before the playoffs start, his timing might be a tad off this year, we really need to make sure he dosen't have one of these in the playoffs, if he has 4 good games after this he'd be scheduled for a flush in the playoffs, not good.

Also real cardinal fans please educate me as to why Wells isn't the feature back? the 49ers do not respect Hightower, they drop 7 and 8 guys when he is running.

Why? I don't get this logic?

If pass protection got RB's to the pro-bowl, Timmy would be the leading vote getter.

And he is much better catching the ball on 3rd downs.

I don't understand the Howling infatuation.... Him on 3rd downs doesn't make sense to me. We have Wright for that.

Who said they didn't? Is Warner not conducting the runaway freight train into joke-ville once again though?

I really can't explain how a QB can be so Jekyll & Hyde. Brees, Manning, etc. will have off games but they don't completely crumble to pieces on such a regular basis.

They need to come out in the no huddle to have a chance, I believe.

They also don't have Gandy at LT either... :mulli:

Because the DB was standing in the path of the route, Kurt has to see the DB and not throw the ball

It doesn't matter. I played WR. You always run through your pattern....always. There is always a chance of getting a call for pass interference with contact and there is always a chance that you can prevent an interception. That was Boldin's fault.

This team couldn't possibly blow it any more ways. They have broken down in every way possible.

Bad Throw - check
WR giving up on a play - check
Bad blocking - Check
Running Back fumbles - Check
Giving up big run play - Check
Giving up big pass play - Check
Getting ran over at the line of scrimmage - Check
Team lacking maturity - Check.

You may get your wish in the 2nd half. The crappy thing is down 17 usually means we abandon the run which means the 2 TE set we use so well won't be in use.

My only concern is the throws that weren't picked weren't very good either, underthrown, overthrown.

Do we care though? It didn't do us any harm last year.
I would and do. A miraculous romp through the playoffs with a perfect sequence of matchups is not going to happen every year.

This is a playoff type game and many others have been big games as well. Good teams show up and take care of business. The Cardinals seem to be playing with the knowledge that they have "easy" games to follow...just in case.

We only have to win 1 doesn't mean lose 3 out of 4.

So for Wells it's a expereince thing then in pass protect, that seems to be something backs get better at with time, I was afriad that the coach just wants to be correct so bad and maybe was forced to take Wells by Graves and the FO (but I don't follow those details that closely). It's unfortunate because I think Wells would open up the passing game in the second half, we are only down 3 scores, but I am guessing we'll see 80% passing and mostly shot gun formations.

3 turnover by Kurt ....sigh...but to be fair, the tesm is living up to thier slogan" We do this together"...meaning we all suck together. Nothing is clicking, could be a very long second half

It's not Hightower. We've played like that all year except against Peterson and CJ. Our run D is that good with 7 guys. Franklin is playing like a top 3 NT in the league, but the average fans have no idea who he is.
