Skelton has a long way to go.

Against a real team with a game plan to stop him it'd be fugly.

Still he has his moments and the team did a nice job of helping him out today, all around it's better, much better than we could of done.

I agree, but any rookie QB in this position would have a long way to go. The confidence of this team was so low, that you have to give the kid credit for not making any stupid mistakes & has us leading 22-3. I guarantee you that if DA were playing, we'd have turned the ball over 3-4 times & we'd be losing by 3 tds. Football is such an emtional game & DA had drained every ounce of emotion out of this team. For his 1st start, the kid has done well. He's managed the gameplan well.

Ok how about this no Cardinal team involved...

Buffalo 3 Cleveland 6

Anderson goes 2 of 23 passing for 17 yds and 1 INT

Roscoe Parrish fumbles twice for the Bills and both turnovers end up as FGs.

16 penalties combined

OK you win. I should have said have you ever seen two more pathetic teams where one didn't have DeWreck Anderson at QB.

:D

What's the record for pass attempts by a rookie in his first start? Skelton is at 36 with 13 minutes to go.

The NFL should fine both teams for putting on this borefest of a game.

Some of our young guys are playing really well on defense...Johnson & Schofield in particular.

And that is why you don't take a guy whose skill set is running the ball from the spread to the outside and run him up the middle.

You have two backs with different skill sets. Why do you keep trying to have them be interchangeable. If you want to pound the ball you use Beanie. If you want to pass and run out of the shotgun you use TH. How hard is that to understand?

I know, it's mysterious as to how this offense is run, bizzare to say the least.

After watching the D the last game and a half there is no doubt that DA had sucked the life out of our defense. So much for intangibles.

Of course it has helped that Orton couldn't hit an elephant in the rear today.

YOu get the impression Timmy is just always going to be one of those guys who fumbles?

Everyone's bitching about running the ball!! Even with a rookie QB in his 1st start, we have to throw the ball. If Wells can't get on the field, just how bad can he be? HT is a below average NFL RB.

It's actually simple, which is why you could never get away with essentially telling the defense what set you're going to use just by which RB is in.

If you can't be balanced, run both guys from the same formations, you're just tipping yourself.

Tim just has to hold onto the ball.

It's like this. Tim Hightower would have been an All-American under Mike Leach at Texas Tech. He'd have been 3rd string under Jim Tressel at Ohio State.

Whis hates Wells as much as he hate Leinart IMO...Plus I get the feeling that BW is discouraged/quitting on Whis for the mind games. There is a reason he hire Drew Rosenscum as an agent because he is going to force a trade after this season IMO...Wells Will be an impact RB in this league, but not with Cards.

If that was a Dallas or NE runner getting tackled like that, there would be flags coming down from the blimp.
