The defense will rebound and have a good game at home. King gives the Cards more passing offense. Probably a couple of turnovers too, but at least we will see some plays that involve the WRs. Should be a good game.

I want to hear some J-E-T-S SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK chants too!!!

The only reason the Cards won with McCown playing QB was because of the defensive efforts. It wasn't becasue of him. Didn't make many mistakes? Sure. Didn't make many plays either.

The Ravens and Bucs won Super Bowls with the same type of QB play. I'm not saying our defense is of that caliber yet. Just pointing out that that formula can work.

If Pennington plays, we're doomed! If it's Quincy, we gotta shot. Curtis Martin? Against our run defense? Doomed! Lamont Jordan? Maybe doomed, but we gotta shot.

Note - Pennington is the best ball-handler and play-faker in pro football (better than Peyton Manning).

If I were a betting man - and based on the inconsistent performance by the Cards throughout the season - I wouldn't touch this game with a ten foot pole.

I bet they will hold Pennington out. The Jets can still win with Carter.

They key is the Cardinal D. They have been very tough at home and will have to be tough again.

I would. I'd bet on the Jets.

From a guy who loses almost everytime he bets for or against the cards never bet against them at home or for them on the road. I do the opposite and trust me it doesnt work....

The game plan should be the same as for the Giants...control Curtis Martin (Tiki Barber) and make Quincy Carter (Warner) beat us. My guess is he can't...unless King throws 3 more picks. From what I read around here, there is less than a 1% chance that Pennington will play.

The million dollar question is can we control Martin?

Point is

imo, not just the TO's but where, when and how much yardage they get afterwards that matter. I agree we can win this one. King settles down, doesn't eye his target all the way, and if he does turn it over does it when it won't really hurt us, if there is such an animal.
The D, as alluded to, must come to play. They got run all over, the TD to Muhammed was just too embarassing.
LET'S GO CARDINALS!!

IMO it's six of one half a dozen of another. We have just as good a chance of beating anybody with McCown or King. How will the rest of the team play is the answer? If they play like yesterday you can put my granddaughter in and it wont make a difference.

As bad as we looked did you guys notice how bad some of the other teams were beat yesterday. Manning carved up the Bears like they were not even on the field. He throws more TD's in one game than our QB's do in 7 games. Dallas got their butts kicked and probably wish they had Quincy Carter back. Actually I wish we had Quincy Carter. The Tuna is another football genius who does not look like much of a genius anymore. He also changed QB's seeing that Vinny is passed his prime. My concern continues who will be our QB next year? Does anyone think Green can take 5 years of play such as we are seeing from the Cards? He will not be fired he may just quit after a couple of years of this. We are 2 years away from the new stadium with no sign of a running back or Qb in sight. The more I think about the problems of this team up to this point I lay it on the shoulders of Green. He went with the QB we have with no experience and passed on perhaps two really good QB's in the draft when we already had some good receivers. He fires a head coach after 6 games and replaces him with a coach with zero experience. He fires our starting center and replaces him with a rookie. He sits on the bench a guy we just extended for 5 years in L.J. Shelton. He shift two other lineman to different positions. He probably has half the team p-----off at him. We must lead the league in penalities which is very much a coaching problem. Our play calling seems terrible. He seems to accept no responsibility for what is going wrong. What the h--- is the Denny Green system. Does anyone know?

Depends. If we get 12 penalties? Or if we drive down in the red zone and fumble everytime. 0% chance.

Who did that?

There were 4 turnovers, not 7. Fumbles don't hurt terribly bad unless you LOSE them. And we only lost 1. And it was Emmitt's fault on that one for blowing a blindside blitz pickup.

the Ravens had Jamal Lewis rushing for 1350 yards and Brad Johnson in only 13 games threw for over 3000 yards and 22 TDs and 6 interceptions and 2 fumbles - whereas Josh was on pace for in 16 games - 2600 yards 11 touchdowns, 7 picks and 4 fumbles. There's nothing similar about the offenses from either standpoint.

Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong.

A fumble generally results in a loss of yards and a blown down. That hurts. It REALLY hurts.

Wrong wrong wrong wrong. It is no worse than a sack. And hell, one of the fumbles was advanced 6 yards by Emmitt.

A fumble recovered is the equivelant of a sack. No more, no less. Loss of down, and yards. A fumble lost is a turnover. Other team's ball. Big difference between the two, and the insistent lumping of recovered and lost fumbles together as "fumbles" is misleading, especially when tied to the 3 INTs. It's bad enough that we had 4 turnovers. That's a disgrace. The turnovers don't need embellished by tossing in 4 other fumbles that did not lead to turnovers. Were the fumbles in those cases bad? Yeah. Did they hurt? Yeah, somewhat. But not as much as the FOUR TURNOVERS.
