"The tuck rule is an exception to this rule. It applies if the quarterback brings his arm forward in a passing motion, but then changes his mind and tries to keep hold of the football rather than making a pass. In this situation, if the quarterback loses the ball while stopping his passing motion or bringing the ball back to his body, it is still considered a forward pass"

The tuck rule is ridiculous, there's no way something like that should be considered a legitimate pass attempt.

Man, you'd think we could get one make-up call somewhere. I guess Dallas doesn't hold.

I agree that the tuck rule blows, but there's no doubt that it was applied correctly here. Which sucks for us.

If it starts to be a tuck, it's always a tuck. The way the rule is, if you pump fake, pull it back, run around for 15 seconds and then just drop the damn thing, it's still an incomplete pass.
