This is depressing. The next quarter will tell all about the heart of this team.

As if the first quarter in Minnesota didn't already tell us everything we need to know about this team's heart?

Does our choaching Staffa teach our guys NOT to tackle?! I'm serious. I've never sen another team so consistently throw shoulders and just dive intomthe ground rather than just wrapping up and tackling.

Running backward... Kolb's patented move, that worked smashingly. If he steps forward Woodley has to go around the engaged players, and even if he still comes through smoothly at least you arnt taking a safety.

Going backwards is the WORST thing he could have done.

What engaged players? What are you talking about Woodley was all alone on that side him and Kolb and Kolb took the snap in the endzone, woodley is standing near the goalline already when Kolb pumpfakes. If he comes forward he's gotta make him miss or fight through Woodley to cross the goalline.

His only chance was get him to leave his feet so he could buy some time, butas the former NFL player Dierdorf said, Woodley didn't bite on the fake.

I am talking about the right tackle on the DE. Who were clearly there engaged, and even then he still should not have ran backwards into the endzone like an idiot. His backpedaling is inexcusable. How anyone is attempting to defending it is maddening.

Woodley was nowhere near the RT and the DE, he was outside of them both clear and unblocked.

You said go around the engaged player like they were somehow impeding his path to Kolb.

Yeah, he had a clear path largely because, as always, Kolb rather than stepping into the pocket ran full speed (backwards in this case) out of it.

But hey, maybe Im wrong and Kolb is playing brilliantly and its all his line's fault. Taking 15 yard sacks, safetys, never finding guys down field and constantly rolling out right... that is just solid fundamental QB play, he just needs "more help".
