the Cards have lost starting IDLs for the season -- even with Robinson coming back (eventually?) -- I would want to add a contributing player inside

the team still has 9 games left. No guarantee that there aren't more injuries on the DL
My hope is that eventually we can get a pocket pushing DT, man how it would be nice to have Dockett again in his youth lol.

Marinating on this a little more: it's a good low risk, decent reward move. Reading about his transition from ilb to olb really reminded me of Collins. If we ended up with a Collins 2.0 as a pass rusher/edge run defender I will be stoked with this trade as a solid stop gap for the rest of the season.

I know we all want azeez - but let's say we get him here, does this create a complicated situation with his brother where if in the future we cut one, the other will be pissed? I dunno- just food for thought. Either way- I wouldn't give anything higher than a 4th rounder for him. Would rather get an interior defense force if we are trading around

I say get Ojulari here & worry about the "pissed" part later lol. I trust this coaching staff with the culture thing they're using. I think it would be cool to have 2 brothers rushing the passer. "Ojulari gets the sack, which one was it"? Lol. A 4th for him hopefully is all it will take?

I would give a conditional third.
A third is likely what the gints will get as a supplemental pick unless they hit free agency hard.
But make it a 4th that becomes a 3rd if he plays 50% of snaps with us and hits 12 sacks on the season. Or something like that.

If by adding Browning & Ojulari & giving up a 6th & 3rd gives us a very solid pass rush then I say it's worth it. I'm hoping Robinson can be very solid which would make the DL even better.

Sounds good to me, 9.5 sacks in 28 starts isn’t the worse I’ve seen for a 6th- I mean DROB should be back soon and no name guys we have kicked the crap out the bears and others.
I’ll fan him, cardinal up and take it like a fan!

That's about 1 sack every 3 games when you show the stats lol. Doesn't sound like much but compared to what we have right now.............it might be an improvement lol. Maybe the 1 sack he's averaging ends up being a strip sack in a critical moment?

Gambo thinks this is the only trade we make

That’s my thought process bring him in to help us get by the Jets is his thinking and the rest of the season… then add DRob after the bye week…. He prob thinks that will be enough for a playoff appearance with the much weaker 2nd half schedule. He likes his draft capitol too much JMO
