That's not what I said. I think it sounds very much like what Sean Payton said about Kyler. He's extremely talented. No one doubts this.

I don't think that there's a coach out there who wouldn't want Kyler Murray on their team. Everyone is going to be intruiged by the talent. It just sounded super-hedgy to me.
I believe this may have been intentional. Seemed like one of a couple of directly indirect messages to Kyler. Same with his "if it is to be, it is up to me" saying. Same with his "I can help Kyler" statement.

He, however, was asked if he'd be calling plays, and he deferred in a way that suggested that interviews to follow would impact this decision.
I know. He should delegate the play calling to his DC. Imo

Extremely confident guy. Not phased at all about the occasion or being in the spot light. Very good communicator.

A lot of this coaching introductions have been awkward car crashes for a lot of teams and first time head coaches. He's handling it well.
Very impressive. Very excited to see how this plays out.

In all fairness, if he was Monti's hire and if he has a realistic vision, that is a nice change if nothing else. I know some disagree with this but I still believe there is no way he survives if Kyler doesn't work. Basically, if he is looking for a QB in year 3, his chances of success plummet significantly.
That is with pretty much any HC right?

Having been Jesuit educated and remembering how servant/leadership was emphasized, I can appreciate how he frames his approach to process-driven success.

He's confident and direct in a manner I appreciate, which contrasts with my impression of KK from day one.
Kliff was a deer in the headlights, JG is completely the opposite.

Is it just me or can you see Gannon, at some point, telling Mike or Monti to go F yourself?:D:D
