TO HOST CELEBRITY GOLF CLASSIC XVIII
Tempe, AZ – The Arizona Cardinals Football Club and Cardinals Charities will host the 18th annual Celebrity Golf Classic on Tuesday, May 15 at Whirlwind Golf Club at Wild Horse Pass (5692 W. North Loop Rd, Chandler).
Cardinals Head Coach KEN WHISENHUNT and his staff, along with players and alumni will participate in one of the year’s primary events to raise funds for Cardinals Charities.
Registration and the Coke Putting Contest are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Lunch presented by Outback Steakhouse will follow at 11:30 a.m. and a shotgun start will take place at 12:30 p.m.
A dinner reception, awards ceremony, raffle silent and live auctions will follow tournament play at 5:30 p.m.
Golfers interested in playing still have time to sign up. A foursome with a celebrity plus a tee sign will cost $4,000 and a single golfer will cost $1,000. The registration deadline is Tuesday, May 8. Each golfer that signs up will receive the Tee Package which includes a Ping cart bag, a pair of Adidas golf shoes, a Mizuno Wedge and a Camp shirt.
Prizes include laptop computers for the 1st place team, a set of Mizuno irons for the 2nd place team and an NFL golf bag for each member of the 3rd place team.
The awards for closest to the pin include a built in barbeque, a plasma television, a Taylor Made driver and a custom car stereo system.
Founded in 1990, Cardinals Charities supports programs designed to improve the quality of life and enhance opportunities for children, women, and minorities in the state of Arizona. Since its inception, Cardinals Charities has distributed over $3.5 million to over 300 charitable organizations.
