I know a lot of us are thinking this is going to be a close game, but I don't buy it. I generally don't have a lot of confidence in the Cards, but despite the recent success the Rams have had under Haslett I still think they're one of the worst teams--and especially one of the worst defenses--in the NFL.

I have the Cards running away with this one. It's not even going to be as close as the score might indicate:

Cards 38
Rams 24

i don't know why, but this game just gives me a really bad feeling. I see the board being a raging inferno after we lose what should be a and is a must win if we want to make the playoffs.

I gotta see them do it on the road before I buy in, and beating a hapless Niners club doesn't prove anything to me at this point.

I see that Rams rookie WR having another huge game, like he has for the last couple weeks.

The Rams were giving up 30+ prior to Haslett, now averaging 18 a game. Assuming we'll be somewhere in between:

Thanks. Did you see that if the Sox picked up Griffey's option he was going to get 16.5 million?

Phew dodged a bullet on that one.

I saw that. That would've been about 2 mill per HR next year. I like Griffey but he's done.

Gulp. Ditto, my new psychic twin. Yeah, WR Steve Avery. I tried to pick him up in all three of my fantasy leagues. No luck.

I hope the cardinals win this game but we have always failed in the past when we need to win big games so I have to pick the lambs in this one :( trying to jinx them though lol.

for fear of inducing further anxiety Skkorp, grab a xanax before you read this next sentence... I picked Avery up last week and am starting him on Sunday.

It's time to beat the ever-living snot out of a team, and the Ram's are the "sacrificial lamb".

At least 3 Rams are on IR by Election Day (I'm not hoping this is true, just predicting).

Ahh the ever cynical Cardinal fan base.

I'll take my heart out of it and just look at it from a matchup point of view.

This is the one place we win have a history of winning on the road. Their secondary is not very good. They will not likely be able to generate much of a pass rush with a (at best) hobbled Leonard Little. Kurt Warner comng home during his best year in a venue where he has a ridiculous 27- 4 record IIRC.

Cardinals big

Cards - 38
Rams - 13

Warner loves playimg there. If he gets protection up front he will have a 300-400 yard game. Can we stop the run?

As always, no prediction from me, but I think its going to be a lot closer than people are predicting here.
