I am not going to get down on Leinart so soon, but I read the aritcle on him in Esquire Magazine from earlier this year and came away with the sense that Leinart is still learning to balance his commerical success with his NFL career.

It seems to me, he has spent too much time on off the feild stuff...

We really need to stop making excuses for the guy. Its because of football that he has commercial success.

Matt is not fine, he struggles against most defenses, has problems throwing a pass downfield. He needs more time to mature and learn the game.

Obviously but a lot of us were hoping the unexpected playing time he got last year would have him further along than he looks currently.

When has this happened?

The Ravens have brought Kyle Boller in at quarterback, but not because of an injury to Steve McNair. McNair has been great today.

But when was the last time each team played two quarterbacks, and nobody was injured?
