Me too
But do u expect him doing the same next season coming from the injury he suffered?

I have no expectations except I'd like to see him recover from the injury and get his career back.

That sounds familiar as a Cards fan.

Zach with the Eagles 6 games 18 catches 31 targets 2 TD's
Zach with the Cards 11 games 56 catches 81 targets 3 TD's

3 catches a game with them, 5 with us, 5 targets a game with them, 7.5 a game with us. 58% of his targets were catches in Philly, 69% of his targets in Arizona were catches. Philly had another good TE in Goedert but even he in 15 games only 56 catches 76 targets. The 1 start Minshew had with Goedert 6 targets, 6 catches 105 yards 2TD's. Hurts won't throw over the middle it's a big reason Philly traded Ertz it made no sense to pay 2 TE's when the QB won't throw over the middle.

The Cardinals and tight end Zach Ertz have agreed to a three-year, $31.65 million deal, a source confirms to The Athletic. The deal includes $17.5 million guaranteed, per the source. In 11 games with the Cardinals, Ertz ran for 574 yards and three touchdowns on 56 receptions. Arizona acquired him in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles in October.

Philadelphia traded the 31-year-old after he had been seeking a new contract from the team, but talks broke off in early September. In nine seasons with the Eagles, he tallied 579 receptions, 38 receiving TDs and 6,267 yards.

Last season marked Ertz's final year on a five-year, $42.5 million contract signed in 2016.

It will be interesting to see how Ertz and Kyler can develop some chemistry with a full off-season and training camp. For K1 to have a second option in addition to DHop that he fully trusts makes the deal worth it IMO.

Resigning TE Ertz was my number one wish. I certainly liked Chandler but know that we just can't afford what he will get in the open market. I also like RB Conner and hope we do resign him but I know we can get a solid young RB in the draft and it doesn't have to be using our number one pick.

I got that I was pointing out it's not actually true. Kyler uses the middle of the field far more than Hurts does it's why Philly traded Ertz. He wanted a new deal there but it made no sense to pay him with Goedert unless they changed QB
