Absolutely fine with this. He is better than Tune.
So many of you missed my “not necessarily” line. The point I was trying to make was that ALL that matters is that Brissett has the experience we absolutely have to have going into a season where the floor is a playoff position. But, let’s be honest, any long term injury to Murray ends our season. But, that applies to almost any NFL team.Sorry....
He's objectively better than Tune.
Hmmm. Does an injury to Murray really end our season? Lol!So many of you missed my “not necessarily” line. two years and carries an average value of $6.25 million
Have you seen Brissett play of late lol. If he has to play for any extended period of time, it’ll be our running game & D that will have to drag us over the finish line. Can be done, but it won’t be pretty. This will add some fun to the season. How long before we are screaming for Brissett to start?
I’d say by game 3! Lol!
Worth remembering how trash that “best season” was:One of Brissetts best seasons was under Petzing when he played for Cleveland. So there is familiarity there

A history of winning a playoff game? More than any QB on this roster can say.“Daniel Jones has upside” is pretty hysterical. He’s also in year 7 now. And has been utter crap. What upside does he actually possess?
and yet free agency does not start until tomorrowI'm not mad about the signing. Some people wanted Brissett here as the bridge starter before Kyler came back.
I am mad that the only thing we have to talk about on Day 2 of Monti's allegedly aggressive offseason is the signing of a backup QB.
How do you know when he hasn’t been a back-up the last two season.Jacoby has been ass even for backup QB standards the past few years.
And some people like to pick the peanuts out of the crap the Cardinals continually serve us and laud it as actual food.
Super crazy for me to not be over the moon signing a washed back up even for a backup after going 12-22 in the last two years, while failing to get Daniel Jones, a backup QB with upside.
Really? Be honest. You would have supported them if they signed Jacqueline Bisset.

Playing with a joke of a roster. You must be registered for see images attach
Very meh at that price. If you paid attention to last season, Brissett was terrible to watch. I get that his team sucked but just watch the tape and he was terrible.
5 starts last season, 103 yards/game.
2 TDs, 1 int, 1 fumble lost. 59 completion %.
This just smells like a Pretzel signing and that sucks because he's a mediocre OC with no imagination in the passing game.
Jones would only go where he could compete to start.A history of winning a playoff game? More than any QB on this roster can say.
Just being snarky- but I’d take Daniel jones over brissett for sure- I think that would give you the best chance to win a game should Kyler need to miss time.
Yeah… seems more like the month of November usually ends our season.Hmmm. Does an injury to Murray really end our season? Lol!
100%An actual backup QB means they believe they can win this year. Having Tune as the backup told me they were unserious last year.
Kind of Kyler without legs.Have you seen Brissett play of late lol. If he has to play for any extended period of time, it’ll be our running game & D that will have to drag us over the finish line. Can be done, but it won’t be pretty.
