I don't think that you can really say that either is THE number 1 receiver, they are both pretty special. The only reason I think you could justify that arguement is that you want to line up Boldin in the slot more and so he lines up more off the line like a number 2. That is all I can guess.

Their doing it on pupose to keep it away from the Texans return man. He is th ebest in the NFL averaging over 30 yards a return. Smart considering were last in the NFL covering kicks.
