Just heard on Sirius nfl radio (ch. 124) that the Cards upped their offer to 2 years, $23 mil. Fact or factless????

Good offer, if Kurt doesn't sign it then you have to let him walk.

If true, then my guess would be that the show of "love" from the Cards in raising their offer seals the deal to get Kurt........

He will take it. Brenda just wanted to take a day trip to San Francsico.

And, as much as I wanted him to re-sign with the Cards, I think it's is too much also. On the other hand, it's good "press" for the FO (I think)......

Not to sound negative, but isn't Kurt asking $14-16M a year?

Nah, the Cards would buy Kurt a coach ticket on Southwest as long as he pays for Brenda.

They needed to up the ante up a bit, IMO. Cards are now stretching to get this deal done, but they shouldn't take out a 2nd mortgage to do it.

They should do it because they are getting skewered on local radio? Local radio was built on skewering everyone and anyone. Local radio should have zero impact on how they proceed.

While i am perfectly content with letting Kurt walk rather than open up the vault..

What exactly will we do with the extra 1.5 we just offered, if Kurt doesn't take it?

Seems like we've already missed on signing all the top level FAs..

Something tells me, if Kurt walks, we wont exactly be proactive with the extra funds.. therefore i dont have much issue if they want to up the offer to 12 million per yr

I'm not talking about the hosts, it's the callers (their market) that they should pay some attention to. Besides, it's not like the Cards think re-signing Warner is a bad thing. But, this team has never been bothered in the least by bad PR, that won't change now I suppose.
