Cards 30

Hawks 21

.....after Cards' D-fence hold Alexander to 70 yards, and harrass their Qb.

I have never seen so posters pick against the cards for one game.

I think its a reflection of the fact that, now that ownership is completely committed to winning, the fans don't have to delude ourselves all season long just to keep our sanity.

With Dansby in line up, our chances improve a lot. Branch probably wont play. Hassleface looked shakey last week, and the hawks are a little banged up.

If they didn't have alexander (shiver), I would pick us to win in a heartbeat.

I believe our offensive line will play better this week, and it will be close. I'll say we win by win by one. 28-27.

To say Hasslebeck looked shaky is a real stretch. Although he didnt have any TD's he did complete 83% of his passes which is AWESOME! He also didnt turn the ball over. Not bad going against an underrated Detroit D.

Alexander goes off for 162 yards and 3 Td's, but Darrell Jackson pulls up with a strained hammy during a pass in the 4th allowing Adrian Wilson to take it to the house, resulting in a 27-24 win for the Cards!!!!

Can we be mistake free?
IMO a third down penalty is akin to a turnover.

Will we risk big plays with tight coverage?
I think we have to and TOs especially ints will be the key.

Will our STs show up?
They looked competent last week, which to me was a big dissapointment.

Will our Oline be able to pick up their run blitzes?
Probably the biggest challenge on the list.

And lastly will the refs be fair?
After the SB debacle I'm sure Holmgreen has made it very plain that the pressure will be on the officiating team to perform well.

To answer my own questions, to many ifs and not enough whens.

We lose in a valiant effort 34 27. Setting up a rumble in the desert later this year.
