Cards vs Rams 10/4/12

This loss is clearly on the OL being total crap, and a little on the terrible play calling! I don't understand why these coaches just flat out cant make in game adjustments or do it so late it doesn't matter! Our coaching just looks pathetic at times it's really just unbelievable!

No kidding? I never surmised that from your troll posts.The season is still young, I believe this team will grow in the positive direction over the course of the season. We're 4-1 and I don't believe we won in fluke games, I owned the Patriots and the Eagles all game.

LOL..There is the problem..BRO....you think you are part of the team. I have liked them since 1975...6 years old with a Jim Hart shirt. And I have suffered as many of has....some crazy losses and bad teams. But we dont do the basic things right....We are not well coached. I dont care what you are anyone says. We dont fundamentally play the game correctly. We dont adjust. We are getting sacked left and right...and instead of putting 2 RB's to help with the Rush...While Fitz can get open...we spread the field so they have a better lane to sack us????

We run no huddle in first half to keep them off balance and tired....and we move the ball....He doesnt run it the rest of the game!!! Whiz is not a smart coach.....We dont make smart decisions. And that is a reflection of the coach. IE look at the Patriots.

And it's the whole offensive line IMO. I see no one that can be a base for a future o line. And we still have no real QBOF on this team. In offseason they have sign every offensive lineman available and draft nothing but o linemen and QBs.

What worries me is that they seem to be getting worse as the season goes on. I would think they should get better as the season progresses. Also I am shocked that we aren't doing more chipping with out TEs and RBs, not to mention the lack of screens and draws.

I expect to see a game kinda like the Eagles game against the Bills. The D will be all over the place and the offense will look a lot better than they did in this game. The short week on the road really hurt us this week. We essentially made no big plays on defense and Kolb was just a little off on a lot of his throws throughout the game. He makes just a few of those throws and this is likely a Cards win. I think there was about 3-4 passes in this game that could have been a touchdown that he was just a little off on.

But Kolb is ALWAYS just a little off on his passes. Even on his long TD to Fitzgerald against eagles Fitzgerald had to jump and go to the ground to catch it and he was wide open. There were plays to be made in the first half and Kolb couldn't make em. And this o line is SO atrocious, and frankly GETTING WORSE, to the point that I just cannot fathom how you can type "the offense will look a lot better than they did this game.". WHAT DO YOU BASE THAT COMMENT ON?!?

This game sucked. Very dissapointing results. Kolb needs to make some of those early throws and the O looks a LOT better because we have them on their heals.

The Oline needs to make a quatem improvement.

The D needs to stop that early opening drive.

Peterson needs to be more effective in pass defense.

I'm very dissapointed in the teams play tonight.

Losing to the Rams is a very bitter pill to swallow.

10 days to prepare for the Bills and this team better win that game.

To blame kolb for any part of this disgrace is ignorance no QB is succeeding behind this line the amount of hits he has taken the past two weeks is unacceptable and someone should be getting cut or Fired tomorrow if for nothing else to make a statement!

Whiz doesn't call plays, but I don't know that he would be any better than Miller on that front. They need to consider getting a different offensive coordinator real soon.

This "weary" cards team talk is just a tiresome excuse. Rams had to deal with similar circumstances. Every team that has to travel for Thursday games have to deal with same thing. And most of them don't give up 17 sacks in back to back weeks. That's inexcusable. Simply inexcusable. In other words, there is no excuse for what we saw tonight other than the fact that our o line does not belong on an NFL field. Pure and simple.

How about the fact that they will have 10 days to prep for the Bills defense. The only had 3 days to prep for the Rams and it showed, they were terrible on offense. They looked solid at times against the Eagles and the Phins and those are both good defenses.

No QB is hitting every throw stop picking the one or two he misses! He made a ton of good throws while getting freakin killed all night and with no threat of a run game! To try and say Kolb isn't getting I done is ridiculous! Terrible protection, no run game, Terrible play calling those are the reasons we lost period!

Indeed it is. But it is one loss coming at the hands of a much improved Rams team, in St. Louis on 3 days rest. If this were in Arizona on 7 days rest I'd be much more concerned. The Cards were still in position to at least tie the game multiple times in the 4th quarter. Bad teams as you insist the Cardinals are would not have been in that position. Bad teams would have been blown out by that point.

I was pointing out those throws because they were potential TDs all in the first half of the game. There were plenty of other throws he missed, but I was talking about the ones that really hurt the team early. I know as well as anyone that this OLine was a disgrace today and that there were a bunch of plays today that Kolb was able to even get a chance at. Bottom line however if Kolb hits a couple of those throws early in the game and this is a different outcome that were talking about right now.

You're right on all those counts. But early in the game, when it was still a game, and the rams hadn't fully tap danced on kolb's head there were multiple chances to score. Not just make a couple completions, I'm talking SCORE. He HAS to find those receivers. HAS TO. And he just can't drop the ball in on a receiver. Nothing over the shoulder. Has seemingly no ability to put the proper amount of air under the ball with accuracy. Just because there are other glaring issues doesn't mean kolb's performance early in the game is excusable.

My man, I made one typo that I edited immediately after I re-read the post. I'll be sure to run my posts by you first for editing next time. Also, so what if started posted more often 4 weeks ago, are you the hall monitor?

My problem with you is your posts lack substance besides complaining about the head coach. You don't type a peep unless we are losing or after a lost, exhibit A, tonight.

...and Kolb still threw 3 TD passes, and FYI I said they looked good at times not for the whole game. Also those 8 sacks in that game were nowhere near as bad as the 9 tonight. Bottom line is the dolphins didn't have near the consistant pressure on Kolb as the Rams did tonight.
