Ive got a brain and I dont think you can say that. Look how the Suns struggled w/ the Pacers tonight sans J. O'Neal their best player. O'Neal could've played and the Suns could've won by 20. Its all a night to night thing a lot of the time. That being said, I do think UA is currently a better team right now, but I don't think the argument of 'if Bayless played, UA wins' can be made with any certainty.

The match up in Tucson will be interesting, hoping both teams are healthy. ASUs zone defense is a good match up it seems w/ UA because it makes up for ASU being so miniscule. UA isn't exactly gigantic but if ASU had to play man to man, they don't really have enough quality perimeter man defenders to cover both Budinger and Bayless.

Also, ASU won the football game w/ out its best player Ryan Torain, so there

EDIT: Also, JERRYD. Come on, thats horrible Mrs Bayless. Its almost as bad as Dwyane Wade. Good heavens, no wonder kids struggle on the English portion of standardized tests.

Well, Jerryd is the only player on Arizona with the athleticism and ability to create his own shot and to guard James Harden. We stalled on offense once the game got tight and the defensive pressure ratcheted up and we were forced to guard Harden by gimpy Jawaan McLellan and Daniel 'WCC at best' Dillon. Jerryd would've been huge in this game, he's our best player on both ends of the court.

LOL, but if you watch the whole game, the pro U of A color commentator was orgasmic every time U of A scored. The commentary was piss poor on both ends.

We haven't forgot that this isn't football. If it was footballASU beating U of A wouldn't have been a topic. LMAO. The clock is ticking and we will soon own you in both.

FSN broadcasts are always horrible, but that experiment was particularly bad. Bob Elliot came across like a smarmy know it all, and used the telestrater way too much. Kuyper barely talked and when he did he seemed drunk.

Is this the most crybabyish thread in the history of ASFN? Posted on the Sun Devil forum, supposedly addressed to Cats fans, totally negative and defensive.... I can't think of a rival candidate for Whiniest. Just an innocent question....

More seriously, I'm unsure why it didn't start "But Bayless was out, and Hill had foul trouble, and Olson is gone, and O'Neill is new...." Excuses with some validity are rife. I was seriously thinking about an upset, and maybe would not have been if Bayless or Olson had been around.

I really don't think long winning streaks are going to happen in the near future. Sendek is recruiting better than expected and O'Neill, while good, is no Olson.

I saw a couple of comments by Sun Devil fans on the UA forum, and they (and the replies) seemed quite classy to me. I suppose an occasional whining/gloating thread is unavoidable.
