It's this kind of game that makes me want Bamba. I swear he'd be the perfect fit. His defense and rebounding is so needed.

Bamba might be a good fall back position. Put shooters on the court and let him guard the rim.

After Ayton or Bagley I'd take Bamba...even over Doncic.

My thoughts are a center would help the Suns the most so Bamba would be a nice prize.

I'm not ready to rank players other than Ayton at #1.

Payton just wacked his hair with his hand and missed the free throw.

It will be nice to get Alan Williams back to have some size in the middle.

Harrison needs to teach some of the other Suns how to build their body. He is strong.

I was thinking though... what about Porter? Part of me would still prefer Bamba because he is such a freak

I worry about the back injury with Michael Porter Jr.

Final:

Cavaliers 129 - Suns 107

Warren and Jackson with 19 points each. Booker scored 17.

Payton and Harrison had 10 points each.

Porter's back injury doesn't bother me as much since he's already returned to the court. If it were that serious then he would have sat out for the whole season but he's back before the tournament started which to me says it's not nearly as bad as some feared.

Warren quietly picked up a double double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. If he adds some muscle this offseason I can see him playing more PF next year alongside a legit Center. I think Bender is too weak to allow for Warren to play PF along with him often.

If only he could consistently put up good rebounding numbers...

Not a single bench player on the Suns managed to record an assist in this game, which is pathetic since they have 2 PG's coming off the bench in Ulis and Harrison. They played 7 guys off the bench also, in addition to the 2 PG's they played Dudley, Daniels, Chriss, Reed, and Len.

I've always wanted to see Warren play some PF as well. However, he does get knocked around a lot. He will need someone strong next to him as you point out plus build his body.

Warren may never be star but he's solid. Depending on how we draft I'd like to see him in the sixth man role as someone suggested on another thread.

I worry about him as a 6th man mainly because of how bad Knight failed in that same role for the team after putting up good numbers as a starter. They're different players but you don't know how each player will react to changing their roles like that. Warren is a solid scorer for the Suns right now and he may continue to be off the bench but until we see it happening I won't count on it.

It may come down to if we want JJ as sixth man or Warren.
