I’d say it depends if we are still short handed like tonight. But if we could Saric and Payne back, I’d be good with resting CP3 again.

I’m not sure conceding the Bucks game is the right message.

I don’t see it as conceding. It’s playing the long game with a 35 year old guy with a history of hamstring issues. This team goes nowhere if Paul is out for a long stretch of time.

All five of the injured are starters or rotation guys.

And Stix? wtf?? Get my guy some run.

Aytons defense was huge on Drummond and Allen.

Offensively Ayton was really playing well until he picked up two early fouls. After that he concentrated on defense and rebounding because he knew he could not afford to foul out. I think he played more conservative afterwards because he knew the Suns needed him. That's growth in a player.

Ayton plays his ass off on defense. Almost to a point in which he’s burning himself out and being more of a decoy on offense.

Ayton’s trend is bizarre. He went from outstanding on offense and ass on defense, to elite on defense and slightly above average on offense.

And Alexander is with the G-League.

Stix doesn't look close to ready and the Suns have him playing outside anyway.

I will take the defense any day. The offense will come once he completes his transition to a defensive center.

That’s true but there’s no way to know if resting or not resting him in a second game in a row is the best way to avoid it. Anything can happen regardless of how much rest he gets.

That said, I won’t be angry if you are right and they do rest him. I just feel like resting against a lesser team would make more sense. Especially if we are still down Payne, Saric and Nader.

Unfortunately getting stuck in Covid protocol hurt him badly

It set him back for sure. I know Stix is thin but I think he should play more inside.

When they have him routinely stand outside, I think it's detrimental to his game.

He's going to be out, from time to time, regardless. If he thinks he's ready to play on a given day, I see no reason to believe that sitting him is going to pay off with additional healthy games later in the season.

It's kind of what we have been seeing. Mikal Bridges owns that shot in the lane if he wants it.

Ayton has played 39 and 37 minutes in back-to-back games. Solid effort in both games

He had 15 points, 16 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocks tonight.

Lots of credit to go around but let's not forget Moore who play 40 minutes tonight who was 7-10 from the field for 17 points along with 4 assists and 2 steals.

Suns being down five rotation players and winning is pretty impressive.

All of the players out (Saric, Payton, Nader, Crowder and Paul) are solid contributors.

I'm hoping to see that Booker reverse-box out on offense added to Mikal's game. Get the defender on your back hip as you mosey in to the lane...... and with his length, it would seem to be an easy two most of the time.

That Sexton offensive foul was a good call, surprisingly.

I will give the referees credit on this call. It wasn't obvious on live television but on replay it was a very blatant offensive foul. My guess is he has used this technique before and the referees were looking for it.
