Good win against a pesky Cavs team. Sexton played a hell of a game. Booker stepped up big in Paul's absence, as did Ayton, who played his most complete game of the season going against Drummond and Allen. Cam wasn't efficient, but hit some big shots in the 4th. Bridges balled out. Kaminsky seems to be having his best season thus far; last year he had stretches where he would get down on himself and mope around. Haven't seen it yet this year. Maybe being cut by the Kings and being welcomed back with open arms did wonders for his confidence about his place on this team. It was a defensive struggle for most of the game, but that's not surprising with Paul out of the line-up.

Solid take on the Suns.

I will say that ever since Monty inserted Frank into the starting lineup, I've been a lot happier with his coaching decisions.

Frank is a very smart player that brings a lot to the table even if he is not athletically gifted as many other players in today's NBA.

On defense he has helped stopped the bleeding at power forward where teams incessantly drove the ball towards the basket. This has slowed down considerably. Frank does a good job playing position defense and not biting on fakes. He tends to stay down and uses his length.

I think he has taken some pressure off Ayton as well.

idk what happened to my post-game summary of my thoughts, but i mentioned this as well, about Monty making better decisions. For me it was the timeouts last night BEFORE things got way out of hand.

I think Monty relies on Paul's decision making too much when it comes to calling timeouts. He leans on his PG's a lot. Without Paul out there though, he knows its a young team that isn't used to winning, or even leading that often, so he's quicker to call for breaks in the action.
