Well that is sad for you IMO. One thing you wont see from the Laker nation is everyone blaming the league, the refs, the weather, the planes, etc for the loss. We made it to the 6th game in the FINALS in a year we were not even predicted to make the playoffs. We will take it on the chin and come back stronger than ever next year.

How is it sad for me exactly? I wanted an entertaining series. I wanted to see the Celtics thump the Lakers. I predicted the Celtics would win in 5 or 6 games. It came to pass.

Oh and by the way, if you would like I can show you plenty of complaint threads on other forums with Laker fans bitching about the refs in games they lost. So give it a rest Cobbler.

I chalk it all up to Suns fans liking Danny Ainge. ugh.

Nah there are MANY reasons.

1. First of all the hatred for the Lakers themselves as a rival that has had our number many of times. (same people were rooting for the Lakers when they were playing the Spurs)
2. Kobe
3. Some fans actually like individual players from other teams.
4. Rooting for a former Suns player.
5. Kobe (haters are going hate)
6. Sick of the Lakers post in the SUNS forum of a ARIZONA SPORTS FANS BOARD.
7. Ties to the city of Boston even if they are not “your” team
8. Phil not getting another ring
9. Oh did I mention KOBE?

It seems much easier to do when your team has a slew of championships already. Plus any Lakers fan in there right mind would root for anyone besides Boston.
