Do you mean that as an honest question? Money doesn't change the world; you still feel jealousy, anger, frustration, happiness and everything else. It beats the heck out of not having money but you can be the wealthiest person on the planet and still feel self pity.
Depends on the person.

I am not a Knight fan (understatement of the year), but he seems happy for his teammates every time the camera shows the bench. I have seen him, smile, laugh, jump up, etc.

I'd like to give it a try. :)

Ask someone who lives in extreme poverty.

Ask someone who lives in extreme poverty.

I think of that as a point in favor of my comment, did you intend it otherwise?

A person living in abject poverty would look at the average American and dream about a life without fear over their next morsel of food or a clean sip of water or perhaps wonder what it might be like to not shiver all night long.

They'd wonder how us rich grocery clerks and pampered movie theater employees and high rolling fast food workers could possibly have anything to complain about? And yet, those minimum wage earners don't feel rich, and they still have jealousy, rage, sadness, bitterness and all the other aspects of human nature experienced by the truly rich and the truly poor.

People don't stop being people just because they come into money. They may change but they don't stop having feelings.

I'm just saying, show me the money. :D

Aside from health issues, I think a person with modest expectations could lead a better quality life. IMO, a lot of people get caught up in the idea money is the whole answer. I do not believe this.

I think a person living from meal to meal has a much tougher time being happy. IMO, money allows a person to have the opportunity to make life better.

Hmm, I'm not sure what led you down this path. I agree with everything you've said here. Earlier, I made the point that money didn't keep people from having feelings. That's all. Not that they don't have a better chance at a better life, I think that's a given.

I don't know. I thought we on the same path. People are still people but money can change lives. IMO, it is a tool. How you use that tool influences the outcome. Sure, human nature does not change.
