I would keep Knight next year. Let him run with Ulis and the second unit. Someone will get hurt and money is nothing.
Go Suns three in a row, WOW

That was incredible! Watching the youngsters is amazing. I hope Bender can get back for the last 10 games or so.
We have to spend the money anyway! We are below the salary floor. Why would they trade a pick away if it doesn't save anything? Just waive him.Because of the KT scenario and the nonstop smashing of sarver for it I don't think we will see that scenario replayed.
As long as he takes Dudley's minutes, not the few minutes Jones JR is getting. In fact, I want to see a lot more of Jones: on the court, in the weight room and in line at the buffet!
I don't think its possible to buyout a player who has multiple years remaining on his contract especially at such a large salary.
Our two options are to trade him along with a pick or to trade him for another bad contract (Mozgov, Deng, Crabbe, Turner, Mahimi etc) and hope that the other bad contract will fit better here than Knight did.
Actually I used to be a college hoops junkie. For a couple years I took a break (5 and 6 year old boys will do that), but this year, due to the fact we were going to be so bad and this draft was supposed to be so good I've been watching college games again, but only those with the high projections for draft status. And I'll admit, I WANTED to like Tatum. But man, every time I watch him I'm disappointed. Seems to be a ball stopper, not a great handle, bball IQ seems rather low, and just doesn't scream stud to me. If we lose out on fultz, ball, and jj by a game or two costing us ping pong balls and they turn out to be studs I'm just going to scream.
I've not seen him blow by forwards considered to be lesser talents. That concerns me.Tatums handle is great for a 18 year old forward.
He is by far the all-around most skilled offensive player in the draft along with Fultz but his defense has been very good.
Tatum was rated by many the guy to watch in his class last year.
I'll have Tatum over Jackson. Over a year younger, better offensive player and not a lot worse defensively.

But do you notice Ulis nearly pushing Chriss to that defensive spot on the inbound? Chriss should get credit, but it was Tyler's heads up play.I was watching video replay of the game the Celtics game this morning only to discover how huge Chriss was in securing the win. He knocked the ball away from IT on the in-bounds play after the Bledsoe basket. This enabled Ulis to pick up the loose ball and shoot it for the game winning 3 point shot.
I want Chriss to get the credit he deserves.
Congratulations to Bledsoe, Chriss and Ulis for very alert plays.

Phoenix Suns @Suns
How solid has our second-unit been over the last 3 games? Suns bench: 141 PTS Opponent bench: 72 PTS #WeArePHX
I was watching the game winner again by Ulis at the link #WeArePHX
It was great to see Dragan Bender (in street clothes) celebrating the win with the other players on the sidelines.
What surprised me was that Brandon Knight seemed genuinely happy for him too.

How depressed would you be if you were getting paid $80 million to sit on the bench?
