I was reading insider today, and the main story is if Tmac could get traded this summer. He listed numerous possibilities including to griz, lakers, bulls, and celtics, but no mention of the suns.

in fact, at the end of the article, he actually says "as for you other teams, the magic don't want your CRAP unless it includes KG, TD,..., or Amare Stoudemire"

so I guess Chad doesn't see TMac in the cards for the suns!

i still think they'd be stupid not to take marion, jj, and our draft pick for him...in fact, we may be the stupid ones to do the trade now!

Yes and in the same article he mentions the Bulls offering their pick and fillers.

Mmm what would you rather have?

- Marion and a top 5 pick
- Curry, Jerome Williams and a top 5 pick while Curry has to get an extension
- Pau Gasol and memphis fillers, while Gasol has to get an extension.


Besides that Chad Ford is talking about involving Crawford as a sign and trade and throw in the horrible contract of Jerome Williams.
I am not 100% sure but the sign and trade specifics don't allow to package the signed and traded player with other players and you can only take back half of that players salary as far as I know.

The Chicago deal was the brain fart of Chicago Tribune reporter. Unless the pick is in the top two, it is beyond absurd and that's assuming anyone would take Eddie Curry.

A few weeks back Scott Skiles blasted the local media because they were all excited about how "well" Curry was playing. Skiles said they were just making it harder for him to convince Curry that the important thing was to do the dirty work - play defense and rebound.
