does anyone remember 1988? We were 7-4 and atop the NFC East having just beaten the 49ers (who went on to the Win the Super Bowl) and the Giants in back to back games... then Lomax went down and we lost 5 in a row.

anything can happen.

That was 20 years ago and the Cards had three straight road games after getting to 7-4. That team couldn't pass protect at all. Lomax stats are amazing considering he missed two games and played behind that line.

The Cards oline gave up SIXTY sacks that season. Not as bad as 1997 when they gave up 78 though.

Man we have some dubious achievements.

I don't see either of those teams winning more than 2 games the rest of the way. I see the Cards TCB in the division, with a shot to beat PHI and MIN.
2 or 3 wins the rest of the way.

That's crazy how Seattle plays the Jets in week 16 and San Francisco plays Seattle in week 16. Seattle definitely has their work cut out for them in week 16.

I'm taking nothing for granted with this team, now or ever. the 88 season is a great example. you'll just never know with this team. philly could certainly be a bad loss. then of course everyone will assume we'll beat the rams, but if not, all the games left are losable. hags or niners get hot. it could happen. I can nearly convince myself its bound to happen.

Guys come on. You can't be serious. Just take a step back from the last 20 years and take a real good look. Seattle and SF running the table and ARZ losing out has as much of a chance of happening as the Bengals and Lions winning out and the Titans losing out. Honestly, it is understandable, buit far from realistic to feel that way. If it was week 16 and it came down to 2 games maybe, but 5, no chance in hell.

I will never take anything for granted with the Cardinals. Too many gut wrenching, unbelievable, incredible meltdown losses to forget.

Show me the wins.

I heard on the radio that they are bringing NFC West Champs t-shirts and hats to Philly (just in case!).
