+1
Kelemete is raw, but 1st and foremost the guy can move the pile. Which is severely lacking in the Cardinals current offensive linemen.
So, tired of watching Reggie Wells, or Lyle Sendlein, or Rex Hadnot, or Daryn Colledge, or Adam Snyder getting stalemated at the line at best, and driven backwards into the RB at worst. I won't even talk about Rich Ohrnberger, flippin' the Max Hall of offensive guards.
The best thing about Warmack is how scary athletic he is for his size. I don't see him having any problems getting to the 2nd level in the pros. I just don't see how the Cardinals pass him up if he is there in the 1st round.
We don't need another Michael Floyd pick to ruin a chance to pick a football player that will better the team. I said Dont'a Hightower last year, and was 100% right. He should have been the pick. Arrogant statement ? You betcha, but I will stand by it.
This year it is Warmack. Guy like that is, like drafting 3 players. You get a "plug & play" guard, which then improves your running game (better RB), and then the better blocking, and better running game improves your passing game (QB).
Seriously, no more over-hyped skills players please, or reaching for QB's when the QB's coming out next year will be plentiful, IMO.
Hopefully the Cardinals will FINALLY get it right and invest on the line.
OT: Levi Brown, Bobby Massie, Nate Potter
OG: Warmack, Snyder, Kelemete
OC: Sendlein, [Hopefully some actual competition in training camp for the 1st time in Sendlein's career]
* Just to say it for the billionth time, really happy to have Bobby Massie. He may "only be a right tackle" but when you have not had ANY tackles for a long time, it seems like a really really big deal to get a right tackle that you can confidently go into the season with.
