Cheboygan's Rupp makes NSC basketball first team; Patrick, Ptasnik on second team

CHEBOYGAN – For a second consecutive season, Cheboygan’s Cloee Rupp is an all-conference first teamer in basketball.

Rupp, a sophomore leader for the Cheboygan girls, recently earned a nod on the all-Northern Shores Conference first team for her play on the court this past season.

As a sophomore, Rupp averaged 11.7 points, 9.1 rebounds and 3.3 steals for the Chiefs, who competed in their first season as a member of the NSC.

Also earning a spot on the NSC’s first team was Harbor Springs senior Olivia Flynn, who has signed to play basketball at Western Michigan University next season. Flynn helped lead the Rams to an unbeaten conference title-winning campaign.

Cheboygan juniors Olivia Patrick and Addison Ptasnik made the NSC’s second team, while sophomore Bella Hingston was recognized as an honorable mention.
