plus he rapes white chicks.

OK, I take it back. You can keep your end of the bargain and take your ban when Kobe takes the trophy.

I forgot what an ignorant clown you could be.

And this isn't your only account, is it?

Probably because A) you made a claim about CP3 that others disagree with, and not just Lakers fans and B) you made a direct comparison in your first post between Kobe and CP3 and C) people love to argue and D) people love to bash the Lakers and Kobe and E) Lakerfans like to stick up for their guys.

I hope that clears it up.

Nah, none of this has do with Chris Paul. Just Laker homer-ism coming to Kobe's defense at the sight of (what they see as) more "laker hate".

I personally think CP3 is the best player right now, and I also think the Hornets will win the west. Again, has nothing to do with Kobe and/or the Lakers. After all, Garnett was kinda good too. How come nobody is standing up for him?

I'm sick of every MVP thread deteriorating into this b.s.

makes him mvp for only part of the year..

not the entire season like paul.. paul had a more mvp like season.. kobe should have gotten it a few years back.. def doesn't deserve it this year though..

plus he rapes white chicks.

Weird...because before Bynum got injured...the Lakers were in first place in the west....interesting. ;)

Why dont you look at every post after the original and see when the Kobe talked started happening before you claim the Lakers fans started this crap.

Ill give you a hint: ITS POST #11

I said that CP3 is the second best, and not quite there yet. How is that not about CP3? It's a counter claim. And if you think the Hornets will win the west, wouldn't their likely opponent in the WCF be relevant?

KG has never been in the "best in the game" discussion. LeBron has, but CP3 is better than he is (Bron has no D).

There are two guys in the league that could have the "best" label on them...you are that shocked that a claim like the original thread title and even your own mention of the other guy in your first post would end up with a discussion involving both?

Unless you expected 100 "yeah!" ":hifive: "preach it brother" "CP3 4 Me!" type responses...

It's actually in post number 1.

Best player in the league right now. Period. Kobe is great, but he doesn't control his entire offense like Paul does.

there should be a prerequisite for becoming mvp.. can't rape people and can't rat out your teammates cause they are cheating on their wives too..

He is not the best player in the game give me a break. He is a very good PG, the best PG in the game right now no doubt, but best player...NO WAY. I will take Kobe, LeBron, Amare over him in a heartbeat.

I would take CP3 over any of those guys NOW to build a team, for the years he has in the future.

Lebron puts up great stats, is a great athlete, but he hasnt demonstrated his ability to hit the outside shot, or to win against the best. When defenses force lebron to shoot from outside this year, we shall see what he's made of. If lebron is going to run the offense, he must stretch the defense to create spacing in the halfcourt.

Kobe has the best all around game and has proven it in the clutch, now he's passing the ball well, big difference in his impact on winning.

Amare: tantalizing talent who needs to learn to pass the ball, read the defense, then play some defense of his own, perhaps he can be mentioned with the others then. For now, amare doesnt fit in with that group, he doesnt know how to win as a part of a team and his defensive letdowns are just too common. Amare should be watchng how teams adjust and change their offense to the defensive strategy. None of the elite teams get stuck forcing shots into the teeth of the defense.

Chris Paul is not a great defender not sure why people equate his quick hands and a few steals to great defense, entirely different thing. If Nash had quick hands that doesn't make him a good defender, Paul can take chances like Parker because he has big guys down low to play D when he gets burned which is often.

1st half of the season - KG #1 , Kobe # 2

2nd half of the season - Cp3 #1, Kobe # 2

At the end, Kobe has been the most consistant player this year....and end up having the best record in the west.
You took Kenny Smith's comments from TNT's Overtime show. Word for word. C'mon, just becuase he said it doesn't mean it's true. That was his opinion...only.

Suns homers are bad... but, Laker homers on a Suns board.. yeah, that's gotten beyond old.

Chris Paul should have won MVP this year. The award shouldn't be given out for sentimental reasons. Paul had the best year.

More than their fair share, and a ton of 20 point leads.

You know what the Lakers overall point differential was as well, right (3rd in the league)? Since you watched all the games and all, you'd also know that they didn't try to play defense for huge stretches of games when they got up big, yet still had lots of blowout wins. Yeah, they had a lot of big leads.

The Lakers got up big in many games, then let other teams back in. It was a common occurence. If it had happened a couple of times, the kudos go to the team that comes back; when it happens a lot, the criticism goes on the team that gives up the leads consistently...that's called a trend.

Then, at the end of most of those games they clamped down on D and either won or blew them out regaining the big lead. But you know this, since you watched all their games.

I agree that the games are based on trends but for you to say that the Lakers squandered those leads is completely false. Teams get hot on both ends of the court and it always isn't coming from one team. What might look to be a lagging defense can be a hot offense making the defense look weak. This i know cause I watched all the laker's games.

Just look at the last game between the Hornets and Lakers. The Lakers didn't slack off, the Hornets got in rhythm and came back.

Yeah I know, and I cringed after that and wrote afterward saying this should have nothing to do with Kobe. But this entire argument is a waste of time. Nobody can be right or wrong.

I mean Phade thinks Kobe is a rapist. I think that girl was just horny and wanted some NBA loving'. Ether way this isn't an argument or debate that can be won.
