I thought Barkley's jersey was in the ring of honor for his contributions as a Suns player?

Who cares what he says as a broadcaster?

That pick Brand set was nasty. It was clean, IMO. I rewound that part a few times, Barbosa just didn't really see it coming.

Another I had to watch a few times was Barbosa's sick move on Vlad on the line. Pretty.

Barkley is consistently anti-Suns -- he's not even-handed in the least. I'd rip his jersey out of the ring without a second thought. Colangelo was right the first time.

I'm with you, pull that jerks jersey out of the stadium. He is consistintly always bashing the Suns, I'm sick of it, the guy has a Obvious grudge against them

first off I think the suns were hosed all game long! I am sick and tired of the clippers guarding no one in the Key for 6 to 8 sec most every time down the floor. They havn't called it since game one when they called it twice since then nothing. 80 percent of our inside basket that we make we are being fouled with no call, Marions basket was not really a flagerant but it was clearly a break away foul, he was a head of the pack and the first contact was a forearm to the back. every time cave man tries to post up he shoves his man completly out of his way untill he gets the position he wants, we need to take some lessons from Raja and hit the dirt hard when he does this.
I completely agree. I didn't want to say anything because I've been harping on these points all series and because we won last night. Brand also travels a lot on his post moves. He'll pivot with one foot, then the other, shuffle his feet and then spin to the basket and get the basket and 1.

Fair enough, but Marion travels every time he catches the ball at the top of the circle. He has his feet square, then shifts them both into an attacking stance right before he puts the ball on the floor. A lot of perimeter players do this, but it's fairly blatant in Marion's case.

And no, this isn't more Marion-bashing. It's just an observation.

Also, the Suns are getting away with moving on almost every pick on the perimeter. Diaw gets called for about one illegal screen each game, but that's no more than 10% of the violations he could be called for.

Marion usually gets called for it once a game (sometimes every other game), but it gives him less of an advantage out behind the 3pt line than it give to Brand whose 8ft from the basket in the post. It's like Barbosa always gets called for carrying the ball every game, but Nash or Cassell don't.

OK, but Cassell and Kamen are so UGLY, both should be arrested for disturbing the dead.

"He is the next logical step in the game's evolution from Russell to Magic to Jordan and now Nash..." Bill Walton

Am I the only one who thinks Walton is stoned out of his gourd all the time?

Thats why Jackson is the only one able to coach Kobe, he sedates himself! But Jackson has won 9 championships coaching stoned. I guess most opposing coaches cant match wits with jacksons because his thought process doesnt make sense to the sober mind..... very clever.

the amount of acid that guy HAD to consume at Dead shows (and as a vet of multiple Dead shows - which still couldn't compare to the atmosphere when Walton was oing in their heyday - you KNOW his brain is complete mush) can explain ALL of Walton's out of this world comments, but I love him for it - no one makes such ridiculously hilarious comments like Walton.

Don't forget that he and Jerry Garcia used to dance naked in Walton's backyard in Malibu. lol

I used to think Walton was a tool, now I take him for the unique and hilarious guy that he is.

A few weeks ago, Walter McCarty was coming in during garbage time of a Clips game and Walton emphatically screamed out on national television...

"Look! Walter McCarty's Coming Into the Game!!!"

....as if it was Willis Reed hobbling back into Madison Square Garden. Bill Walton is a comedic genius.

that's awesome.

The best part of Walton's craziness is that they teamed him up with the PERFECT straight man in Steve Snapper Jones. They have great odd couple chemistry together.

What’s even better is when they team him with Tom Tolbert. He rips into Walton like there’s no tomorrow. They have me laughing the entire game.
