I believe Markkanen turns into at least a borderline star player. I'm not sure who to compare him too at the moment. I've heard Kristaps Porzingis mentioned pertaining to his ability to shoot the ball.

Their athleticism and fluidity are pretty far apart in Porzingis' favor. As a UA fan I love Lauri but wouldn't touch him in the top-5.

I may end up wrong on this but I think Markkanen will end up falling short of expectations with the team that drafts him and then he will sign with the Spurs as his 2nd team and will have a Matt Bonner type career there as a lethal shooter off the bench.

I can see the Hornets drafting him if he's available for them since they love to draft players like him.

I can even see the Suns drafting him in a trade-down scenario. It would depend on how far they trade down. The Suns need shooting. He would definitely help. That said, I have a feeling the Suns will draft a SF forward unless they get the 1st or 2nd pick.

I'd choose Porzingis as well. He should be in a Suns uniform. I guess Bender has a chance, if he improves, to be a Porzingis type player. However, that's a big "if" at the moment. I do like Markkanen though.
