Clippers @ Suns 5/16/2006 game thread -Yahoo/ESPN previews

It was pretty even 1st half. We were up by 9 but they had a mini run and closed it to 6.

2nd half we came out very strong and took 19 pt lead but then thought we had the game in the pocket so everyone went into a shell and they evened the quarter.

Right now we are up by 6 in 4th with 8:26 to go.

so what's gone on in the game so far? I'm at work and can't watch or listen to the radio or even check the sports pages to find out.

The usual Suns game ... start off well give up the lead, fall way behind then get on massive roll to regain the lead, slightly lose the lead and the go completely off on 3 pt shooting to get a HUGE lead, then return to the problems that have been bugging us all season long ... letting them back in the game.

We're up 5 at this point and are exchanging basket for basket. Marion is having one hell of a game

he had only 5 points in 1st half, now has 23

Like I said we lead the league in stupidity. Thats part of the reason our defense is garbage more often then not

40 sec to go, we are up by 3 , Clips have the ball with new shot clock

Way too many chances for the Clippers for my liking. Thankfully Brand missed 2 clutch FTs or we would be in serious trouble

And I love steve nash, but he has absolutely nothing in the tank right now, he looks like the steve nash that we saw in his early dallas career. Can't blame him, he had to carry so much all year.

It would've been on Brand but he did actually made a play on the ball. His teammate I'm not so sure.
