Kansas sophomore forward Carlton Bragg Jr., was arrested Thursday on suspicion of domestic battery against a family member.
The 6-foot-9 Bragg remained in Douglas County jail Friday, according to the Kansas City Star. Police provided no details about the arrest.
Center Yankuba Sima transferring from St. John's hoops team
NEW YORK (AP) — St. John's sophomore Yankuba Sima is transferring from the men's basketball team.
The team made the announcement on Friday. The 6-foot-11 center started eight of 10 games this season and averaged 6.0 points and 3.5 rebounds.

Auburn's Brown, Spencer suspended after marijuana arrest
AUBURN, Ala. (AP) — Auburn starters Bryce Brown and Horace Spencer have been suspended following their arrest on charges of misdemeanor marijuana possession.
Auburn police arrested the two players at about 3 a.m. Wednesday and charged them with second-degree marijuana possession, according to an incident report.
The report says the players were found in a 2006 Hummer with a cellophane bag containing marijuana, as well as some that was loose.
