Mike Krzyzewski Statement on Grayson Allen: "We have had the opportunity to thoroughly review the incident involving Grayson Allen from last night's game against Elon. As I stated last night, the incident was unacceptable and inexcusable. He took an important step last night by apologizing in person to Steven Santa Ana and Coach Matt Matheny. As a program, we needed to take further steps regarding his actions that do not meet the standards of Duke Basketball. To that end, we have determined that Grayson will be suspended from competition for an indefinite amount of time."Jeff Goodman,

It's actually 4. I can't remember the team but he did it once as a freshman too it's just that people forget because he wasn't well known then. I saw a replay of it last year after he did the one against FSU.

UNC again faces NCAA extra-benefits charge in academic case
It also restores a reference to football and men's basketball players using problem courses to help maintain eligibility. That was removed before the second version filed in April.

UNC still faces five charges, including lack of institutional control.

In a statement, athletic director Bubba Cunningham said UNC has "serious concerns about the process" leading to the third notice

Just a hunch but I think UTEP is going to snap NMSU's 8 game winning streak, next Friday.

HALFTIME: No. 3 Kansas 42, UNLV 20.

Jayhawks shooting 50% from the field, while the Runnin' Rebels are hitting a bleak 29%. @AP_Top25

Merry Christmas to USC! Breaking News. No.34 Charles O'Bannon Jr tells ESPN that he has committed to USC. Story & Scout's Take on the way!

yeah UCLA fans are freaking out but the reality is people who covered the recruitment said COB wasn't particularly interested in following in his dad and uncles footsteps. Add in UCLA had Kris Wilkes in the same class and he wasn't coming to UCLA. Sucks that he picked SC but he could wind up buried on their bench there's no guarantee any of McLaughlin, Stewart, Matthews, or melton are going anywhere which would make him the 4th or 5th guard on the roster. And that's assuming Shaquan Aaron leaves and he might stay. From what I gather the only kid at USC that's a near lock to leave, non senior, is Bennie Boatwright.

Malik Pope was the lottery pick for San Diego State but Zylan Cheatham is guy with best chance to play in league. Gibbs Racing-like motor.--Fran Fraschilla

All that great start and UCLA is now in last place in the Pac 12.

2 huge 3's by Oregon in the last 15 seconds and a huge missed front end by Bryce Alford.

Knew we weren't going unbeaten but tough to blow a game like that

Just wanted to place this here... Went to my first Grand Canyon men's Basketball game last night vs Cal Poly. I had heard about the environment being created at GCU and was excited to finally get the chance to see it for myself.
Uh - WOW! What a super-cool experience in every sense of the word!! Once you get past the area surrounding the campus, the actual campus itself is stunning! New Golf Course, Soccer Stadium to die for, baseball field...dorms and class buildings... New conference center, hotel and restaurant... and of course, the gym!
GCU has their own campus police department and so security was very present, but exceedingly good-natured and friendly. The students in attendance and those working were all high-caliber/high-quality and over the top cheerful kids...
The game starts with everyone standing and being led in prayer. And the fans don't sit until GCU scores their first point (2nd half as well). There are already an amazing degree of routine and customs that the students and fans practice. Thunder Dan has put together a fun and very athletic team (they won).
Overall, I would say the total experience actually exceed the hype. GCU is a comer for sure!!!

If you talk to NBA scouts there is not 1 Oregon player they love. It's collection 5/6 good college players. Goal to be this year's Villanova

Definitely true they sort of have the mix college coaches want, players who are good but not so good they're all going pro early.

Tough game UCLA had that one and then the missed FT by Leaf and the missed front end by Bryce bit them in the butt.
