I think coach K is putting the best players on the court, so that the interim coach can get the W. This is ridiculous.

This was easy way for Coach K to do it: Get a look at entire team before he steps away, and also not have Capel have to deal with scrutiny.

Now we'll see if the NCAA enforces the rules that they didn't the last time Coach K had surgery and stepped aside. At the presser afterward he announced Nolan Smith would move up to assistant and be allowed to recruit while Coach K was out. the last time he was out they did the same thing with a different assistant, but then it was widely reported that while rehabbing, Coach K continued to recruit, calling kids, even apparently visiting some. Total NCAA violation you're only allowed to have a certain number of coaches recruiting and when they promote a guy to assistant and let him recruit, that means Coach K can't recruit. It was a very sore spot with several programs the last time around but he's such a big name guy the NCAA looked the other way. Will be interesting to see if they enforce that rule this time, Duke is of course involved with lots of bigtime recruits and under NCAA rules K can't be involved in recruiting them anymore.

PAC-12: Conference office reviewed the tape of Dillon Brooks' ejection Saturday at Washington State for kicking the Cougars' Josh Hawkinson and said Sunday it won't take any further action. Brooks can play in the Ducks next game against Oregon State.

Nebraska has landed former Georgetown forward Isaac Copeland, multiple sources told ESPN. Copeland was highly rated, but didn't quite live up to expectations with the Hoyas. Will definitely help Tim Miles in Lincoln. Cornhuskers assistant Kenya Hunter recruited Copeland to Georgetown when he was an assistant with the Hoyas.

Georgetown transfer Isaac Copeland confirmed to ESPN he is headed to Nebraska: "Nebraska has everything I need. A great plan for my recovery after surgery and environment I feel like I can get better in. There's a lot of familiar faces there for me and I think I will fit in well."

Just wanted to place this here... Went to my first Grand Canyon men's Basketball game last night vs Cal Poly. I had heard about the environment being created at GCU and was excited to finally get the chance to see it for myself.
Uh - WOW! What a super-cool experience in every sense of the word!! Once you get past the area surrounding the campus, the actual campus itself is stunning! New Golf Course, Soccer Stadium to die for, baseball field...dorms and class buildings... New conference center, hotel and restaurant... and of course, the gym!
GCU has their own campus police department and so security was very present, but exceedingly good-natured and friendly. The students in attendance and those working were all high-caliber/high-quality and over the top cheerful kids...
The game starts with everyone standing and being led in prayer. And the fans don't sit until GCU scores their first point (2nd half as well). There are already an amazing degree of routine and customs that the students and fans practice. Thunder Dan has put together a fun and very athletic team (they won).
Overall, I would say the total experience actually exceed the hype. GCU is a comer for sure!!!

All thanks to the Federal Government subsidizing the loans of the 50K on-line "students"

People are saying Grayson Allen intentionally pushes an FSU coach in this video from last night. I'm not sure I agree I think he was trying to break his fall and then realized he was about to hit someone else but curious what others think.
