I still don't get why this is such a big deal? I get that Valentine is demonstrative and it's annoying. But we're talking about a play where Berry did a Euro soccer player move and tried to trick the ref into calling a foul when he wasn't really impeded at all. He didn't get the call he wanted and as a result he went to complain to Valentine, who just decided he didn't want to hear it.
I can see that, nothing drives me more nuts than seeing players argue fouls that they obviously committed, or argue no calls that were clearly the right call. He was not fouled there. My guess is Valentine, like me, is tired of watching players flop so when Berry tried to act like he got fouled, he didn't call it and then turned his back when the kid tried to argue the call to show his frustation.
He probably shouldn't have turned his back, but then Joel Berry shouldn't go cry about a no call when he didn't actually get fouled.
