Former NC State sophomore TE Thaddeus Moss transferred to LSU.

Thaddeus, the son of former NFL superstar Randy Moss, caught only six balls during his true freshman campaign at NC State. The 6-foot-3, 240-pound Thaddeus Moss told The Advocated that he'll have a better opportunity at LSU under first-year coordinator Matt Canada, who once upon a time recruited Moss to NCSU before getting fired prior to Moss' arrival on campus. Canada was unable to flip Moss to Pitt, but he's now landed his man. Moss must sit out the upcoming year but has three years of eligibility remaining at the start of the 2018 campaign. He's the second recent high-profile transfer that LSU has landed, following the Monday commitment of former five-star Texas Tech DL Breiden Fehoko.

The players allegedly conspired to steal belongings from another student's dorm room
Louisiana-Lafayette has suspended 13 players indefinitely for what is officially being termed as the ever-vague "violation of team rules." However, it just so happens that 13 ULL players are also facing charges of felony theft after they allegedly conspired and stole belongings from another student's dorm room.

The 13 players identified are Matthew Barnes, Joe Dillon, Robert Hunt, Denarius Howard, Jarvis Jeffries, LaDarrius Kidd, Terik Miller, Damar'ren Mitchell, Trey Ragas, Simeon Thomas, Levarious Varnado, D'Aquin Withrow and Jordan Wright.

Dillon and Mitchell were among the biggest contributors to ULL's defense in 2016 -- the former led the team with seven sacks -- and Wright was the team's fourth-leading rusher as a freshman.

Report: Texas A&M releases WR charged with indecent exposure
Kirk Merritt claims 'jock itch' was the reason he exposed himself to two tutors
Texas A&M has reportedly removed wide receiver Kirk Merritt from the team. The Bryan Eagle reports that Merritt is no longer listed on the team roster.

As you may recall, Merritt was charged with two counts of indecent exposure after allegedly exposing and touching himself in front of two different tutors at Texas A&M in October 2016.

Merritt did not deny the charges after being arrested, but instead claimed he had been dealing with a bad case of "jock itch ."

LSU junior edge rusher Arden Key tweeted that he will not be sitting out the 2017 season.

Key has been away from the team since mid-February due to what Tigers HC Ed Orgeron referred to as "personal reasons." Per Key's father, the LSU star is not dealing with any sort of injury or health concern. While Key is healthy, it is not quite clear when he might be rejoining the team -- Orgeron said in February that he would be back "at the appropriate time" but offered no timetable. In one additional note regarding the potential 2018 top-10 pick, he has been packing on the pounds this offseason. After being listed at 6-foot-6, 238 pounds for the past season, Key recently tweeted out that he is "255 and ready." Expect further updates on his availability and return date over the coming months.

Arkansas junior RB Rawleigh Williams III was carted off the field during Saturday's spring game with what the program is calling a "stinger."

After being carted off the field during Saturday's spring game, Williams was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure. Addressing the injury, Arkansas HC Bret Bielema said, "We’ll evaluate what the medical people tell us and then we’ll have a conversation together and only do what’s right for Rawleigh." Bielema indicated that this scare with Williams "seems to be unrelated" to the 2015 neck surgery which sidelined the 5-foot-10, 205-pounder in the autumn of that year. Williams rushed for 1,326 yards and 12 touchdowns during the past campaign. Given the recency of this newest spring injury, a timetable for Williams' return to football activities has not yet been laid out.
