That's a poetic way to end the game... runner on second with no outs and get SQUAT! Fully in danger of being swept now... wow...

They should have just packed it up and quit when they absolutely blew it in the 3rd inning.

Well, I couldn't bring home a win boys and girls I'm sorry. I will say tho, the game tonight was a blast other than the frustrating baseball team.

It was Suns night and pretty much the whole team was there. They introduced all the coaches and players. Cool to see Booker and Jackson and Bled out there! The Suns dancers were also there which I personally really enjoyed. They just brightened my night so much with their talent and their sweet spirits and enthusiasm. :D

As for the crowd, it wasn't a huge crowd but it was decent size, 27k the outfield bleachers were almost full and they were really rowdy. They got several waves going (even tho I think the wave is dumb I appreciated their enthusiasm) and they got a bunch of really loud LETS GO DBACKS!!! chants going. I was actually impressed because Dbacks crowds are usually pretty lame and when you yell people look at you like you're in a library lol.

The product on the field wasn't what we wanted tonight so that sucked. Goldy continues to flop in key situations which is a bummer. JD is doing his very best to carry the team but one guy isn't enough, unless that guy is Carlos Gonzales. TL continues to tinker with pitchers in late innings and it continues to blow up in his face... idk what else to say. Gerardo Parra was freaking killing us all night with his glove.

So all and all it was a fun night it was good to get my old man out to the ballpark again and all the Suns stuff was great. Alan Williams bounced the first pitch and was boo'd loudly but playfully, it was funny. Its also funny to see them standing next to Dbacks players. I mean, the Dbacks are a bunch of big strong men, and they look tiny around all the Suns haha!

Once again a great starting pitching outing wasted by TL

And yet all the sports talk shows will continue to kiss his ass

I wouldn't call his pitching great. He did walk 5 guys.

Plenty good enough for a win... Had TL only left him in...

Hindsight 20/20. If he would have left him in and he stunk it up, we will all be saying why did he leave him in. He left him in an extra inning several games ago and he stunk and we were all over TL for keeping him in.

Walker hadn't even thrown 100 pitches..Only gave up 4 hits and just 2 runs. And it wasn't like Walker's spot in the line-up had come up in the bottom of the 6th where TL needed to consider pinch-hitting for him! It the wrong damn move - again.

I dunno... I mean, don't short-sell the second half run that guys like Lamb, Drury, Peralta and Pollock have had! Oh, ummm... wait a sec. :(

I dont know if it looked as bad on TV or not, but being there in person last night... Our guys look absolutely LOST at the plate. Gray didn't walk a single batter, but trust me, we should have walked about 5 times but guys were flailing at just HORRIBLE pitches up there. It was hard to watch at times..

Yep I was just going to edit my post and add: And if they weren't swinging at garbage, they were watching meatballs go over the plate for called strike 3.

It was an infuriating night of baseball for the home team.

That explains everything.

It's impossible to overstate the importance of the game tonight... We win and our lead is back to 4 games... we lose and it's down to 2 heading into the finale tomorrow where another loss all but wipes out our lead over the Rockies, not to mention what the Cardinals and Brewers are up to.
Yet, I just saw that Goldy is at Phoenix Children's Hospital today, bringing some smiles to kids faces who are dealing with trials you and I will hopefully never face.
It's impossible not to completely admire and respect this man. I am sure he is feeling extremely frustrated with his performance since coming back from time off with the elbow. And I'm also sure his elbow isn't anywhere close to 100% and I wouldn't be surprised if he has some surgery after the season is over. And instead of pouting or feeling sorry for himself, he chooses to give of himself. A rare breed indeed...

Yep I said all along a split will do. A split leaves up 5 games up and pretty much seals the deal. Gotta win these next 2 games.

Haha, except I go to a lot of games, the only losses I've been to are this one and the St. Louis selfie incident. They've won 7 or 8 of the other games I've gone to.
