Next years targets for Dbacks need to be a 3b and nothing but pitching period. Get rid of Ahmed, Petersen, and perhaps Longoria. Rivera is questionable. Release Castro, Davies and probably 2-3 others I don’t remember. Call up Lawlar and play the youngsters.

When you throw two guys (Pffffft and Davies) back to back with their 6+ ERAs, even the lowly, pathetic Rockies can make the DBacks look like the worst team in the NL. Torey needs to be fired after this season, even if the DBacks manage to sneak into WC3 - which I think is increasingly unlikely.

Hope Corbin Carroll doesn't go on the IL. He has to be healthy for the DBacks to have a chance at WC3 - particularly when they need tons of offense to overcome the pitching deficiencies.
