I love it when someone who's completely unprovoked hurls insults at people while at the same time, questioning those people's maturity. bravo.

I always wonder this: If we're not allowed to talk about an unfinished product, what's the point in even operating this message board until September?

And cheesebeef does his usual whine. Some things never change.Bravo the Darksiders emerge.

And sometines it is simply recognizing issues at hand. INHo Cheese has been level headed about his concerns with the Cards issues. I can only think of his "bashing" of KW as the only miss Cheese has had in the past 5 yrs. If Cheese is concerned about our current LBers issues then I for one am paying attention.

Good for you.I think the front office and coaching staff realize what they need to win.I trust their judgement.

I agree that Whis is all that. Fact of the matter is we are scary pitiful at the LBer position. Do I think they can't recover...........No. Have they made it a tough situation this offseason.........YES.

my "bashing" of Kurt Warner ended immediately when he actually started playing well... and it's not like I was the only one skeptica about himl... I mean, I do recall our head coach having him being Matt Leinart until Matt crapped the bed in pre-season.

But hey, I WAS wrong about thinking Kurt could never have the resurrection that he did and I admitted as much... and I'll admit (HAPPILY) if I'm wrong here.

But regardless of all that, I still don't know why you gotta get personal with people who are fearful of front office moves.

My usual whine? Dude, get back in your delorean and jump out of 2003 and back to the future. I've done pretty much nothing but praise this team ever since Wiz got here (save Rackers). Even this offseason I PRAISED this team for the Boldin trade, I PRAISED this team for the Rhodes trade. I started an entire thread GUARANTEEING THE SUPER BOWL back in the day! Sue me if I'm not gonna whistle zippidity doo-daa outta my butthole though over every single thing this team does or does not do, especially if I disagree with it.

Yeesh. Why is it that the "positive" people are the ones who always go personal. If it's just a game, don't take us so seriously.

Well, at least Porter has not yet been signed by the Skins. We are still in the running for him, and have a serious leg-up on the Skins in that we are so close to Bakersfield. On the other hand, if they let him get away, and the money difference, or contract length, is not of serious consequence, then we are painting ourselves into a corner the we may not like to be in. Using the draft to fill at least two ILB positions and one OLB is like a crap shoot. You are LUCKY if you hit on 60% of draft picks. Even if we do, we come up one vacancy short. I just don't like relying on the draft to fill needs. That is what the old Cardinals did, and they were never successful in having enough depth players to fill needs. We ALWAYS ended up drafting for need. I don't want to go back to those days.

LOL.

I have been thinking to myself, how positive and supportive of the Cardinals you have been as of late.

Guess not, LOL.

It was a compliment. Anyone else here batting 1000%.

Maybe I should have not posted while intoxicated because you seem to have missed what I was saying.

Get personal?

no, no. I was referring to BW52, not you Cardiac.

The general attitude about the sky is falling routine is the silly behavior i dislike. When people act like this team is going to fall off the face off the earth that just is plain dumb IMO.This team is moving in a positive overall direction IMO.
As for your being on the positive side mostly these days i must admit i haven`t been reading as much as in the past so if i am wrong i do apologize.

Be honest Mitch, you are stuck in complete frustration because Leinart is the unquestioned starter and BSP still blows. :)

I am not frustrated that we did not sign Foote. Not one but two teams(Cards and Redskins) with good coaches looking for a starter passed on the guy, no other team wanted him, and he has to settle for a backup position. Something is clearly wrong with this guy, be it injury, attitude, film on him while in Detriot, did he not want to be another stop gap like he was in Detroit so he just settled for Pitt as a backup because its closer to home. No one knows.

On Porter, we heard right away before he even came here Porter will most likely search for the highest bidder, meaning he was probably always going to visit more then one team. He has a lot of baggage that comes with him as well, and as Wiz has said and what I have felt all along they have more faith in the Davis, Brown, Washington, and Baggs then the fans realize. Does it mean thye wouldnt upgrade given the chance, sure they would but again the coaches like those young guys a lot, a lot more then fans want to admit to IMO.

While I am not frustrated, I do understand why others are. I am dissappionted in the Cards PR team. Why showcase these two guys to the media but not Hadnot, Lenon, Anderson, or any others that came for a visit. All you are doing by showcasing those two guys to the media and eventually the fans you are only getting their hopes up and raising expectations. I think fans would be a lot less frustrated if they never showcased these guys to the fans in the first place. Its the Cards own fault for unnecessarily raising expectations when they didnt need to.

sure makes you think its medical -- that the Cards docs looked a picture of his foot and raised some concerns

They would have had lots of film on Foote prior to any visit -- and his agent would have given ball park expectations prior to any visit as well --

that makes me think it wasn't necessarily money or play

Great point Joe...

But, I have a hard time believing it was that, it seems to me they had intentions of signing both all along(It could be things happened after their media parade).

For some reason, I am reminded of the relative uproar about the failure to sign Edge Hartwell, LB from Baltimore.

I'm happy with the offseason so far, I haven't seen them overpay for anyone, addition by subtraction and we've gotten some guys we need.

LB'er is a concern for sure, we better have drafted well or we're SOL on that front.

I remember a lack of uproar over the failure to sign Karlos Dansby,LB from Arizona.

So now there's an uproar over signing or drafting guys 33 years old or guys 6'1" or guys that weigh 226lbs or guys that run 5.0 40s.
