I don't know about watching the line play closely but when I watch games, more often than not when there is a drive killing penalty, it seems like Larsen is involved. Now, I don't know what the actual stats are for penalties or sack given up (I'm sure someone who has more time on their hands than me will bring it up). However, I always seem to see Larsen making a mistake at crucial times in drives.

Well, Larsen has had the same amount on penalties called against him as Veldheer over the past two games...one. So, looks like your opinion is completely inaccurate.

How many False Starts and Holding flags ahs Larson received over the past 2 games? 4 games?
I don't know... just seems to me that of all our linemen, he gets flagged the most...

Larsen has been flagged once over the past two games...same as Veldheer, our top lineman. So, your wrong.

The ground game has shown life since Cooper has been in, period. Larsen is the one that should be the odd man out. That guy is the real problem

The ground game hasn't shown signs of life since the middle of the Atlanta game. It started showing signs of life in the Kansas City game when:

1) Kerywnn Williams and Kulabafi started getting more touches
2) Ted Larsen got moved from left guard to right guard
3) Darren Fells started getting more snaps at tight end
4) John Carlson started getting fewer snaps at tight end
5) Jonathan Cooper started getting more snaps at guard.
6) Andre Ellington went on IR and stopped getting any snaps

There's a correlative relationship between the running game getting better and Cooper moving into the lineup, but there are a lot of other variables to consider that causative.

11-3 with 'em, 11-3 without 'em.

It spoke volumes that Jonathan Cooper's name didn't come up once in Cardinals Underground Podcast yesterday, and the Cards' site has been eerily silent on the performance of their top draft pick in 2013, save for one sentence saying that he needed to get better.

Good to know Fanaika is feeling well enough to practice. It's possible Cooper wasn't going to play, anyway.

*sigh* At least we have one constant with this team--your obsession.

Is anyone else worried that Foote didn't practice?

Do we need to start a poll to decide who/what K9 should complain about for the next couple of days?

I thought Larsen played pretty good at RG. Cooper needs to improve alot. But to me the biggest reason the running game has improved is because we have found a talented RB in Williams. He's quick, explosive for his size and is powerfull for his size. I like him a lot sofar.

I hope they can keep Larson at rg but that might be impossible.

There not going too:

Mike Jurecki

BA: Ted Larsen at LG, and Paul Fanaika RG on Sunday vs. Seahawks. Jonathan Cooper out for Sunday's game. #SEAvsAZ

Which is a shame. I guess we will find out how this effects the running game.

It's a good thing too. We don't want a guy with crappy technique in there over a guy like Larsen.

Cooper not playing is bad news for this line. It shifts the line positions back to less than optimum production, and hurts what was starting to become a productive rush-blocking unit. *sigh* Will it never end for this team?
