They changed the goal and gave it to Prucha.

We go to overtime! The Coyotes put a lot of pressure on goal the last two minutes.

I wonder if Darren Pang has any regrets about leaving for St. Louis? I know his job security was in limbo with the chance of the team relocating before the season, but I really enjoyed listening to Darren and wish he could be part of this year's team.

Just got home from work and the Coyotes just beat the Blue Jackets 4-1. Nice to see them stop that small losing streak.

Great win tonight, great to see us get back on track. The Coyotes Defense is impressive and I love this "pack mentality" thing they have going. They are exciting to watch forsure!

Solid game last night. Good win with the backup goaltender.

Boom! This team is so much fun to watch. Hopefully the wins will keep piling up and they will peak some interest in this city.

Coyotes beat the Ducks 3-2 in a shootout last night as they won their 9th game in October. What was depressing to see is only 6,495 attended. The community needs to start supporting them to show the NHL they do care. If they can't fill the arena up when they are winning, I just don't see them staying here in Arizona.

The fact that attendance is down from last year has to be put on Jerry Moyes and once ownership leaves his hands, I think people will start to come out again.

By the way, the Coyotes are averaging 9999 fans a game right now. If you take out the 18000 the first night, they are averaging a little over 8000 a night since.

I got a pair of the company Toyota Club tickets for Saturday night and had a blast. The club and food and drinks and all that was fun, but sitting so close (second row) to the ice was an amazing experience. You can really appreciate the speed of the players and the game when you're that close. I've never sat so close so it was an eye-opener, for sure.

I noticed how intently the guys are concentrating when they're on the ice. Just looking in their eyes while they're skating is pretty amazing...they're so focused. And you can see why...everything is going a thousand miles an hour and you really need to know what's going on.

Also, I've never really had a favorite player, but I think my guy is now Z. Anybody that leads the league in blocked shots deserves serious respect. I can't even imagine how much that must hurt. Wow.

Anyway, awesome game on Saturday! I hope more people start going out to the games. It really is good hockey this season.

Not sure what happened tonight. The Yotes looked as confused as the Cardinals were yesterday out there in the 1st and 3rd periods. None of the defensive tenacity that got this team off to a fast start. Hopefully this isn't a case of the Kings just having our number.

Regardless, I had a great time at the game with the kids. If anyone is looking for a relatively cheap yet epic night out the Yotes put on a pretty good show!

Yeah, crushing loss last night. Funny you bring up the Cardinals...it was like "Same Old Coyotes" last night in a way...last year's team would have lost that, but I don't expect this year's team to lose like that.

Ya, it was fun explaining to the kids why the Coyotes took out the goalie.

"WHY DID THEY JUST LET THEM SCORE THATS SO DUMB?!?!" lol

Kids are funny

I told them he wasn't stopping anything anyways so they sent him to the showers. :p

Coyotes get a huge win as they go to Anaheim and win in overtime on a goal by Vandermeer.

It's been an enjoyable year so far, it's a shame that they don't have one legit proven scorer, because with a couple of decent offensive players, this team could at least make the playoffs.

nice win over the flames - puts them 6th in the conference

their PK has been phenomenal as of late and is now rated 10th in the league on the year - their PP is 21st, but is within a percentage point of being top 15

this is going to be the key to their success

the are also 11th in the league in 5 on 5 for/against (1.11) - which is better than what I thought it would be and speaks well to their defense
