Nice win over San Jose last night. Next four games are on the road with Detroit up first.

Yeah, nice win over the division leader. We've picked up 13/14 possible points in the last 7! Imagine we get this ownership settled and bring in 1 (or 2 ;) ) legit scorers, could a whiteout be the hottest ticket next year? Could people on the east side be coaxed to the west valley? Come on stars, align already!!

Tough loss at the Joe on Tuesday. I thought we came out passive and Detroit, as beat up as they are, pulled on their workboots and took it to us. Bryzzy looked very human, which he normally does after receiving lots of praise in the hockey media  . We showed some spark in parts of the game but really, the effort we put out gave us the result we deserved. Without a proven, game-changing type scorer, this team has to work 60 minutes.

Leafs tonight should be good. I'm sure there will be some Hamilton chants from the locals, hopefully the boys take it as motivation and shut them up by getting back to our style of play. Toronto's been on a bit of a tear lately so we cannot take this game for granted. I think Bryz is starting tonight so Tipp probably isn't taking them lightly. I'm pretty sure Babs will get the nod tomorrow in Columbus.

Coyotes are up 5-3 in the 3rd period against Toronto. Nice to see Prucha break out of his scoring slump. He has two goals so far tonight.

We seemed in survival mode most of the night, but that said coming away with 2 points is huge. Even though we gave up a PP goal I love our PK this year, we are just in the box too much. Needs to be cleaded up a bit I think we'll get exposed more in the future if we continue to take so many penalties. Though we played a little too much dump and chase. But again after playing last night I probably shouldnt be so critical.

Gratz Doaner on 1000

Gratz Boys on another Win.

I wasn't able to watch the game, saw the highlights. But listened to the radio feed. Would have loved to watch this one. Sounded like we played a pretty contolling game.

What can you say about Upshall and Lombardi. There chemistry is unbelievable. This game only summarizes it. Add Doaner to the mix and that line could be lethal.

This team has found a way to win this season with all players chipping in on offense. It all starts with sound defense and Tippett and his Staff preach that as well as accountabilty. Burke has done wonders with Bryz. I'm so happy for this team and they are blast to follow. Gratz on another great win.

The Upshall-Lombardi-Doan line contributed for four goals and six assists tonight. Keeping Doan with them is an obvious must, considering that's one of the best nights Doan has had in a strangely tepid season for his so far. Bryz has been terrific, but if the Coyotes want any chance of staying in the playoff hunt, then Doan is going to have to pick it up.

Yet another solid win. Strong game played all around. Not many mistakes made. And frustrated a tired Duck team.

Bryz gets another shutout making it look easy and effortless. His play this year should not be taken for granted. The D in front of him is solid, but he is definatly played better than last year. And more consistent.

I'm super impressed by the depth on this team. If a player struggles or gets nicked up for a bit we're able to plug in someone else and not miss a beat. Years past if someone went down or went cold for a stretch it was certain doom. I love the coaching staff and the system in place. It is NOT boring to watch, and who doesn't like winning?

Keep it up boys!

sitting at the 3 seed in the West right now. all i can say is WOW!

I am really happy about how the team is playing so far but it's still early. The past couple of years the Coyotes have tanked it in the second half but this year Wayne is not coaching.:)

Big game tonight against the Kings. LA is getting healthy as Johnson, Simmonds, Smyth and Segal are all back. I hope there is a big crowd tonight and they are loud. Need to start distancing themselves from the Kings.

Titles aren't won or lost in this part of the season, but tomorrow night's game against San Jose counts for about as much as a game can count in December. The Coyotes, after winning its ninth straight on home ice to tie the franchise record, are just three points behind San Jose for the division lead. San Jose hasn't lost since the last time they played the Coyotes five games ago, so both teams should be playing at their peak. Here's hoping the magic with the Lombardi-Upshall-Doan line continues.

I went to the Coyotes/LA game and had a great time. The tickets were a surprise gift and it couldn't have been a better game to go to so far this year. The Doan tribute was great and the crowd was unbelievable.

How I wish the Coyotes could have that kind of fan support every home game. Just maybe people will start taking notice that the Coyotes are a good team. I want to attend a playoff game this year where there is a whiteout.:)

very exciting game last night and my sharks were finally able to snag a pair of points

both goalies were making their case for russia #1, that's for sure and both teams were skating pretty well

my wife actually got hooked in as well and stayed up to watch the last 5 minutes of the 3rd, OT and the shootout .... all this after she had put the baby down and was longing to go to bed

Key was the Coyotes left with a point.

yeah - definitely wasn't a bad result for the 'yotes, especially when followed up the next night with a 10th consecutive home win

result much of the same

although through the 2 periods it looked like deja vu from the last time SJ was down here earlier this month

complete to playing a game in SJ the night prior, putting Greiss in goal, him having a good game but giving up 2 goals, the coyotes getting a ton of good looks right in front of the net and most of the 2nd period being special teams

was a fun game to watch and it looked like the crowd was good

game winner in OT by Doan today! great game!

Ridiculous that it had to go to OT because of the goal that was called back, but at least they got the win.

And the USA WJC team took gold, so it was a good night!

Circle K Deal

If you buy four eight-packs of Pepsi at a Circle K, you can get a voucher for two free lower-level tickets. All you have to do is take a voucher off the Pepsi display and the receipt to the box office and they give you the tickets.

You are basically paying $10 for 32 cans of Pepsi and $160 worth of Coyote tickets. The deal expires at the end of the month, but the Coyotes just started a long homestand, so there are some good opportunities to go support the team.

:jedi: (Great savings plus a lot of Mountain Dew!) ;)

much needed win over the devils - they put up 4 goals on them as well

need to keep the momentum going in that direction over this homestand and into the break - big game against MN who is standing outside of the playoffs, but still in the race - getting a 2 point swing on them would be good

15 games left until the break - 19 remaining after

still a long way to go

with the sabres, caps, redwings and flames all coming up pretty quick the schedule is pretty tough

Game last night was lots of fun. The crowd was pretty small, though I wasn't surprised with the weather and the opposing team being Nashville. Nice to see Scottie Upshall get a natural hat trick. And, the two goals that the Coyotes did give up were really weak.

Nice time. Am planning to hit another game or two before the end of the season. Wish the arena was closer to Scottsdale, but que sera, sera.

Weather might of played somewhat a part but the Coyotes just don't have the support they should have. Nashville is actually a pretty good team and the Coyotes are fighting it out with them and others to get into the playoffs. I'm glad you had fun and are going back. Now if they can get more to support them.
