Teams throw at Peterson all the time and he doesn't make make big plays. When was the last time Peterson actually made a big play?? It's been about 2 months.
D, I can't argue with your premise... I think the eye test alone tells us that Cro had a more "productive" year and that this season was a sub-par season (that's being kind) for PP21. But I don't think PP21 gets thrown at as much as Cro. I think Cro benefited from having more opportunities to make big plays.
That said, PP21 had more than his share of opportunities to make those plays and way too infrequently, he didn't.
I have to believe PP21 knows this in his soul and that 2015 will be a much improved season. If not, we have some serious issues on our hands at the CB position as I highly doubt Cro will be back with us....
Always appreciate your opinion 82! Luv ya buddy!!
I really don't think that Cro had more opportunities to make big plays yet he consistently made them. PP21 was thrown at more often and just flat out did not make the plays. Against C. Johnson and D. Bryant (Weeden throwing to him) Peterson was awesome. Outside of those two games what did he really do?? @ ATL was pretty damn ugly. ALL of his INTs this year came against the Rams. Austin Davis, Shaun Hill...
Cro was ugly in the Falcon game too, surrendering just one less reception and one hundred yards to a lesser receiver than Jones
OK well then assuming all things things were the same in he regular season, who showed up in the playoff game? Cro was the better performer in 2014/2015.
Cro is fool's good. He was one of the worst rated corners in the league last year but the signing was hyped because of name recognition alone. He'll make a nice play once in a while because he's experienced and athletic. Also as much grief as PP gets for his tackling at least he tries. PP is a bad tackler but he's physical. Cro is neither and teams know it and run that way (bring back DRC memories eh?).

I like Cro and PP both actually, and want Cro back for the record... I do not have a problem with them or Powers, but the Honey Badger had a ton of goofs and nobody ever seemed to point a finger
