Doesn't matter that his last carry was with us...or a fumble--unless your point is that he wouldn't want to end it on that note. All of his records will say Emmitt Smith, Dallas Cowboys (unless there's a record he broke when he was a Cardinal).

He broke the record as a Cowboy and is retiring as a Cowboy, the only record he broke with us was the most 100-yard rushing games.

We the yards from scrimmage he broke everytime he got a positive yard...broke his own record.

Actually the record book says

Most Scrimmage Yards, Career
23,111 Jerry Rice, San Francisco, 1985-2000; Oakland, 2001-03
21,264 Walter Payton, Chicago, 1975-87
20,537 Emmitt Smith, Dallas, 1990-2002; Arizona, 2003


I guess I should have looked it up first.
