D. Anderson's accuracy is really impressive.

Breaston, Larry, Doucet, and Williams better get used to diving for balls thrown 4 yards behind them.

Definitely made sense to get rid of Leinart. Who needs accuracy when you have a guy who can throw it 100 mph.

He looks great so far when a defender isn't immediately in his face. When the line holds he has done well.

We all know that, seemingly the staff is willing to trade poor accuracy for big plays. Now we just need to see big plays.

Although at this point you can't fault DA too much...the OL and Hightower are bigger culprits right now.

Unless you're a Leinart-lover.

Hey I preferred Leinart and still think letting him go was a mistake but I've moved on--it's just not all on the QB right now. Hightower's fumble and less than a yard a carry and the OL not pass blocking or creating holes are bigger issues.

Fortunately NFL quarterbacks never have to make plays with defenders in their face.

And I must have missed the defender in his face when he spiked the ball 3 yards in front of Doucet on 3rd down.

The penalty play?

He nailed Doucet with a beauty on the next play.

Rather have the receivers diving for balls then getting drilled everytime because the ball takes 12 seconds get there. That is when it actually does get there and isn't 10 yds short.

Fortunately they play 4 quarters and aren't judged only by how they did on their first few passes...

Very true. I'll give you that.

I just don't like hearing all of the Jake Plummer excuses already for Anderson....blame the OL, blame the receivers, blame everyone else. Bottom line is, Anderson has to be responsible for his 50% completion percentage.

If we get the big plays the trade off of accuracy will be worth it. Leinart wasn't highly accurate either. Warner was but is gone. We live and die with DA for now.

He had a horrible percentage, but he wasn't the starter for every game last year. Didn't have a lot of throws in a couple of those games so he was either splitting time or the team was running more.

New place, new team...let's see if the results are different.

True.

Kurt spoiled us. I just can't stand watching throws miss open guys. I guess that's because Kurt hardly ever missed anyone.

Yeah obviously the inevitable first quarter fumble by Hightower killed the first drive but DA has killed 2 or 3 others with inaccurate throws. Maybe the worst was the screen pass to Hyphen where he had to reach down and back to snag it, he got maybe 1 yard, if he's hit in stride he has a chance to get 5-6 more making the 3rd down more manageable. It's such an easy throw for most NFL QB's but Anderson not so easy.

Oh well, he hasn't turned it over yet and he has made some nice throws.

And I've never said a good word about Leinart. He was crap.

Pre-injury he showed flashes.

Never felt he would lead us anywhere though.

I hope Anderson does well even if he's just a placeholder for Hall or Skelton in the years to follow.

those last 2 passes were terrible, does that mean he will follow it up with a beauty?

I'm with you Ed, DA was 10-14 at one point which sounds good, but he missed a couple open throws that we have become used to seeing being completions the last couple years.
