He could play left and first but right now I think Nady starts in left field. I hope Allen has a big spring because I don't want to see him in the minors.

Nady is a platoon guy anyway. It wouldnt make a lot of sense if Allen wasnt platooning with Nady.

This makes absolutely no sense at all, you trade Reynolds away to reduce strikeouts and sign Branyon. Is the justification because Branyon is cheaper? I would rather have had Jorge Cantu at least he can hit over the Mendoza line.

The D'backs went from one extreme to the other, getting rid of big bats who strike out a lot and replacing them with nickle-dime hitters.

Then, in desperation, trying to add back some power . . . but not very skillfully.
