He is playing awful though. Looks like me playing Madden. Forcing passes where they shouldn't go, slow decision making... sigh...

4/11 for 24 yards and two interceptions. This is a continuation of his bad play from last week. He's just not ready. Looks like it's Warner, for better of for worse.

the thing about Leinart that stands out to me is that he throws to guys I didn't even know were on the team, some FB, then some scrub TE, then back a scrub WR. Warner comes in an I see passess to 81 and 11...

With the first half done no QB has looked good so far this game, for either team. Leinart 4/12 3 int Warner 1/3 with a fumble from a sack. For the Raiders Russell is about 50% with a pick.

That was a nightmare of a first half for Whisenhunt. Leinart was terrible. Then, you think, "Maybe Warner will grab this job by the short hairs." But, he promptly fumbles.

I will say this, I was very, very surprised that he took Leinart out when he did. If he was set on Leinart as a starter, there is no way you take him out at that point. You would want him to finish on a strong note.

It was a combination of dumb choices, press coverages, and poor routes by our WRs.....and BTW.....Warner didnt exactly look like Superman when he got out there

Looking at the playcalling and formations used, this game seems to be all about the running game to the detriment of both QBs. A lot of 1 WR sets, pounding the ball and deep passes being called. I haven't seen any crossing routes that our WRs are so good at and If this was a real game I don't think we'd see a lot of those deep passes against Hall, Routt, Asomugha and Huff. Matt is 4/12 and Kurt 2/4 with his one big completion coming when the CB tripped. On the other had James finished 6 carries 26 yards and Hightower is 10 carries 52 yards with a TD.

I'll take fumbles over INTs. When the ball hits the ground we have a 50/50 shot of recovering. :D
